Hello everyone. [You are now being addressed by a pink-haired princess.]

It seems the school has lost more teachers. If there is anyone here with experience or interest in teaching or even just expertise in a particular area I would be very appreciative if you might consider using your talents in the school. There's a full course catalog and schedule available on the intranet in the computer labs. They were also in your welcome baskets originally, though they're probably a little out of date from those versions, so I can have new ones mailed to anyone who wants them.

Also...

[She smiles, but there is something difficult in this and it shows. She's afraid no one will reply.] I've been living in a large apartment in Sector three. [And everyone she's lived with has left one by one until she was alone again.] I wonder if there is anyone else who might like a roommate. I don't mind moving either if you prefer a different home.

I was actually looking to become a teacher.

[Jane chimes in.]

Then this is wonderful timing. What were you wanting to teach?

Perhaps a home economics class, or a cooking class. Both are equally useful skills.

Oh! We used to have a cooking class. I was taking it actually. I still need a lot of work. [A slightly embarrassed smile.]

You could always teach both. There isn't a limit. That is if you think you want to take on that much.

I think I would rather do a cooking class before I try to take on home economics. I would be glad to work with you personally too if you'd like.

That's so kind of you. Thank you! I think it's probably a good idea to start with just one. You could always rotate them or add the other later if you thought it was going well. I just need a little information from you for the course catalog and we can both start letting people know about it!

(OOC: Just fill out the little form. It doesn't have to be anything intense. And pick a time when nothing else is going on in the schedule.)

Thank you for this good opportunity. It was getting to the point where I definitely needed something to do during the day.

[She grins.]

It can be helpful to stay busy I think. [Between running the school, taking classes, being a cheerleader, organizing the welcome baskets, and starting a memorial garden again she's certainly had things to take her mind off her losses.]

Do you do a lot of cooking in your spare time?

It is very helpful to be busy, it makes the days not seem as if they are dragging along. [She chuckles.]

I cook everyday for my household, miss. None of my friends were raised in quite the culinary household that I was. Baking is more in my spare time, which I would be glad to teach within my cooking classes.

Oh, you can call me Euphemia or Euphie.

Do you mean your household here then? It sounds like they're fortunate to have you.

You can call me Jane. It's lovely to meet you Euphie.

[She nods.]

Yes, I have quite a large number residing in my household right now. I don't mind cooking for all of them however. The food gets eaten.

It's good to meet you, Jane.

And that sounds nice. Are they people you know from home or people you met here?

I had already been friends with Dirk, Jake, and Roxy upon my arrival here and theirs. The three newer additions to our home- John, Jade, and Dave are from a universe similar to ours.

But they have either met an inevitable fate, or are playing a different session than ours.

[Jane forgets sometimes people don't know what Sburb is.]

But we're all pretty cozy, getting to know one another. Is anyone from your home here?

...An inevitable fate? [hat sounds bad.]

Ah, n...yes. Shirley is still here. I'm afraid we only met when we came here though. [To Euphie's knowledge. Though she did look somewhat familiar, she didn't remember everyone from the group of hostages.]

Unfortunately. Some death in this little game of ours is permanent. I know that sounds horrible, doesn't it?

[She nods.] At least you got to know her better, right? You aren't really alone.

[She goes over the names in her mind again thinking at least one of them will die soon after they return like herself.] Oh...

[She's quiet for a beat.]

No. No, none of us are really alone. Not as long as we all have each other.

Perhaps the other point in having this big dome jail is to help us expand our horizons and make new friends. Even if I do not favor the environment, I do favor meeting new people.

It's been such a pleasure talking to you, no doubt. It is why I am not upset about this. At all. Being stuck here. Nor am I afraid of death.

I couldn't agree more.

Although... Why do you mention you're not afraid of death?
