Unsurprisingly, Day had been the only one at the first rehearsal who had known all his lines by heart already. He didn't hold it against anyone else, though. It was just what he did. He had been a little annoyed at how many people simply hadn't shown up, though-- people who had been cast, but just weren't there. Like, you know, the baker, who was probably the biggest part in the whole musical!

He still got a bit huffy, thinking about it. Day didn't like when people left him and others hanging like that.

But he was determined not to think of it, at the moment, as he wandered out into the sunlight and caught sight of Hayden leaving ahead of him. "Oh, Hayden!" he called lightly, and maybe a little girlishly.

Roland sat on the hood of his squad car, dressed neatly as ever in his uniform and eating his burger from the diner. He liked the diner, even if it was regularly visited by people he was almost certain were freaks of one sort or another, and had people working for them who had those possessed animals hanging around or inside.

He'd given up calling Animal Control. They were busy, so he just stayed prepared, ever on the alert in case one of these "tame" animals broke whatever enchantment it was under and did what animals do; attack and kill innocents and children. If he had to he'd shoot the owner, too, because they had no right putting others at risk by calling up these things, and Roland would certainly get rid of them if anybody else was in danger.

Still, though, it was more or less quiet for the cop today, and he'd taken lunch early to capitalize on the peace and figure out if he was ready for the SoH meeting coming up. Probably was, because all he was was a goon to them, but still. One had to prepare anyway, if at the least in appearance.
