the hardest question.

WHO: Søren & Alicia
WHERE: Around Scarlet Oak
WHEN: Morning

It had been a few days since Alicia had found out the truth about her mother. Well, at least the part about her identity at the very least. All the other fun things Acacia had brought up privately had been left unsaid, though they continued to nag at the back of Søren's mind. He hated to admit it, but he'd watched his little one closely. And, yet, he saw no signs of this darkness or evil or whatever else Acacia claimed might be in his precious child. In many ways he refused to believe it. And yet...there was that little niggling feeling.

'Are you ready to go exploring?' )

Family Reunion!

WHO: Søren, Seraphina & Alicia
WHERE: Hotel di sei Ali (Gammelgård Suite -> Hotel Restaurant)
WHEN: Lunch

The subject had been difficult to breach. Søren had tried several times to say 'your mother' but the fear that Acacia would just walk away again stopped him from properly explaining anything. So he'd told his daughter that they were going to meet a friend of his. Someone they knew from Denmark and he'd happened to bump into. Someone who had met her as an infant, which is why Alicia may or may not remember her. None of these were actual lies, though he was omitting a very crucial part of their relationship. And, really, Rose had been more parent to Alicia than either him or Acacia had been. But he'd told his daughter that they were spending the day together. No realtors, no doctors...just them, though they would have lunch with an old friend. Afterwards, they could explore the town. Whatever her little heart desired. )

you speed so eagerly to your own destruction

Who: Søren and Seraphina
When: Midday
Where: Søren's hotel room
NOTE: /Sections/ are spoken in German.

"If my toys are going to be so polite as to show up on my very doorstep, I cannot ignore that." That was what she had told her son, and a day later Seraphina felt everything was working in her favor. She set a few discrete members of her staff to watching, and when Søren's suite was empty she simply let herself in. Whether Søren returned first or her daughter with whomever it was Søren had hired to tend to her, Seraphina cared not. She was ready to work with either. Though she preferred to draw Daddy back into her corner, first.

She was dressed to do exactly that, she thought. Perhaps a little bolder than she ever dressed as Acacia, but nothing so risqué as to throw the man into shock, or so drab as to allow him to forget a single curve. She sat at the edge of a desk rather than the couch - body language was important. She wanted to appear comfortable in Søren's room, but not quite so arrogant as to be relaxing. She needed to look as if every second waiting for his return was an agony. Poised to straighten and rush to her feet the second he walked in the door. In reality she knew he was coming long before she heard his card key against the door. Humans walked so loudly. She sat straight, rigid really, and looked up from the wedding ring she toyed with in her hands. Yes, come back to me, my pet. I will set everything to rights.
