Who: Sasha and Jackson
Where: The park
When: Afternoon
What: Taking a much needed rest
Her due date was tomorrow. Her baby could arrive at any moment and she was trying not to freak out about everything. Part of her thought she should stay close to home just in case, but she had walked those streets entirely too much in the last few days. She needed to get out and she needed to go some place where there were people. Sasha ended up at the grocery store, purchasing some grapes and a large bottle of water. Maybe the water wasn't the best idea since her pup was pushing on her bladder, but she didn't care. She knew she would need it the way the weather had been.
The were heard some people talking about the bombing and them finding more bodies and it made her shudder to think that people were hurt like that. She was grateful that she wasn't the sort to go to marches and the like. It was easier for her to stay out of the way and she hated to think she might have lost her life or worse, her child's life in the process. Quietly, she munched on the grapes as she made her way to the park and to her favorite tree. She liked to sit on the bench beneath it and sing softly to her baby, the songs she remembered her mother singing to her when she was little.
But her bench was occupied. As she got closer, she realized it was another were. Just her luck. She seemed to be meeting them in spades. This one seemed calm enough and he was canine, which could work in her favor. For a brief moment, she worried he might have been sent by Piotr but she told herself she was just being paranoid. She managed to settle herself down on the bench after deciding that she didn't care who was sitting there, she needed to sit too. She opened her bag of grapes more, enjoying the sweetness of the little green fruits as she sighed softly, suddenly glad to be off her feet. After a long moment, she turned and held out the bag. "Would you like one?" she asked, accent lilting around the words.
