Late night fishy noms
When: Evening
Where: River in Scarlet Oak
While Roxy loved her job as a paramedic, she was rather perturbed by the hours now and then. So far she had pulled off two late night shifts back to back and just got out from her afternoon/evening shift. It really didn't give the poor thing enough time to sleep, and the heat was definitely taking a toll on her. While driving out from the hospital, Roxy had ran a hand through her hair, only to pull out a good chunk of it. It was disgusting, but nothing she could do about it. Penguins did molt in the high heat and Roxy was no exception to that rule.
Instead of heading straight home, Roxy decided to take a detour and head on back to the same river she had visited the other day. She had been interrupted by Fin, which in the end wasn't as horrible as she thought it would be. Upon arriving at the river, Roxy turned off her car and quickly shifted into her penguin form. Seemed like no one was in the area, but she couldn't help but be a little paranoid. Probably a mix of being spotted the other day and overall being uncomfortable alone. If someone spotted her again she was going to scare way too easily. Regardless, Roxy waddled her way to the river and dived on in. It was great to be swimming freely in the cool water. So refreshing.
It wasn't long until she came across a small school of fish swimming about. Now that made her inner penguin rather giddy. Wiggling about in the water, Roxy dived on after the fish and tried her best to catch a few. After a few attempts she finally caught one, poking her head out of the water to devour the small meal. Delicious!
