Hey, does anyone want some good news? I have some good news. That post isn't a fake and Joseph Bell is back awake and around and about. I don't think we should go spreading where he is but he's going to get round to everyone and talk to them and — actually if anyone knows a good way to fill him in on the last few weeks other than where he's asking on the network that'd be a good call too.

You know what I miss in this, the age of the exodus of casual conversation here on this journal network? Wizfeed quizzes. How will I ever know what vegetable I am, or which combination of Avengers I am, or what my dessert choices say about my financial prospects? How will I ever know what mansion I'm destined to live in or which Quidditch team really "gets" me?

I feel rudderless and adrift.

"You could just go take the quizzes yourself, Edasich." Please. If you don't post results for everyone to see and compare, have you even really taken the quiz?

Right, I don't know how to explain this one, but I reckon it's got to do with the Room of Requirement: I have a passage behind the portrait of my sister to that room Longbottom's in. I've fed him cause he's been hungry for a few days, but he's alright. We have better access to Hogwarts now and the kids there so let's figure out how to best use that.

And before anyone asks, Longbottom ain't leaving. Firmly said as such that he's not gonna leave any of his friends or students to suffer at the hands of Death Eaters. Kinda proud of him.

I had the oddest moment earlier, when I realised that I miss Quidditch. I’ve never been much of a fan, I’d turn up to watch matches at school but a certain friend of mine was always convinced that I wasn’t paying enough attention. I got away with it once he made the team, of course, I only really had to turn up then congratulate him afterwards.

Anyway. That friend went on to do this fantastic WWN programme about Quidditch, and in listening I learned a lot. It’s not something I would’ve usually listened to, but opening my mind to it meant that I improved my knowledge on something I didn’t know much about. And now — I mean, I don’t think I’d say I’m the biggest Quidditch fan but I did always check up on the scores. Keep an eye on my favourite statistics. I miss that bit of routine, and I was only very mildly invested in the sport until I listened to something that helped me learn more.

I suppose what I’m trying to say is sometimes it’s worth taking a chance and listening to something or someone new. You never know what you might learn.

So, the Potterwatch thing. I read what you wrote, Uncle Hugo, but I have to ask. Is it real or not? Are the Carrows torturing the children students at Hogwarts with the Unforgivable Curses? And if so, what do you think about it?

I tried to make a lasagna today and failed spectacularly. Idk how I'm going to survive in another place without a house-elf.

Everyone should be railing against what Amycus Carrow is doing at Hogwarts, and at what Death Eaters are doing in general. Stop putting your heads in the sand. Your children are either going to become torturers or murderers or the victims of it.

I went to see Layla and to talk to her, and she said Keats was the one who killed Felicity Swann. I don’t know how we can verify that, but she did tell me what he did, so... I don’t know. She didn’t know if he was ordered or if he did it on his own. He talked about it, just not that part, at least not where she could see. Anyway, I thought I should tell all of you. I know it’s not a lot, but maybe it’ll answer something. He joined up after his brother was arrested, so he could’ve been part of anything after that.

Imogen and I wanted to let you know that we plan on submitting resignations tomorrow, effective immediately, and we'll be leaving the country. We have some connections in America that we're going to be pursuing. Between Cai and Kea the recent murders, my grandfather, Graha and just everything really, we just need to start over fresh somewhere.

Once we get settled we hope to have a guest room for anyone who wants to visit. We'll miss you all, of course. Please stay safe.
