Despite attempts to keep my father from attending my wedding or meeting his grandson, he's resilient and you underestimate him. So sorry to disappoint. But it's with that in mind that I say all of this now, finally. And I thought the world could use some more good news.

Right, so a friend of mine needs some advice. There’s a girl he met up with, and they’re not dating, exactly, but he found out not too long ago that there’s going to be a kid, so he’d like to do something nice for her, but he has no idea what. My last relationship ended when I went to Azkaban, so I have no idea what to suggest. But several of you are (successfully) married, so I thought you’d have more insight than I would.

It feels good to know I get to ring in the new year with different scenery from last year. After all of the progress we've made this year, I have very high hopes for the next, and I'm really looking forward to starting it with a a bang.
