Got hit by some slime (???) and a Stinging Hex. My Healer says I look exceptionally handsome but I think he is lying to me because my face is still really swollen. They're gonna keep me here for a few days, it looks like.

I found my love horoscope for today and it says:

And how are the New Year's resolutions going? I'm almost through with my book of Sudoku puzzles, so I'll have to get another, but this is certainly the longest I've gone with my (one) resolution and I'm still proud of myself, honestly.

Sometimes, it's pretty hilarious to imagine that Lord V might take time to post things on Hooter, even though it's likely that it's his intern (do Death Eaters have to go through an internship phase?). Maybe he should start signing his official hoots with "LV", just for posterity's sake.

For those familiar with FRIENDS, were Ross and Rachel on a break? Why or why not?

I'm happy to report that I've successfully completed at least one Sudoku puzzle everyday since ringing in the new year. This may be the longest I've kept my resolution (although really, why would I think giving up caffeine was a good idea in the past?) so, you know. Here's to keeping at it?

Also someone in the office has Indian food and it smells delicious and I can't figure out exactly what it is and it's driving me a wee bit mental mostly because I've been hungry and staring at my sad porridge. I'm tempted to throw it out and get some chicken tikka masala but also don't want to actually waste food, so guess I'm going to have to keep my craving for dinner.
