I was speaking with Alicia, and we're both concerned about the size of our little organization, emphasis on the lit. We're just not accomplishing as much as we could be because we're spread so thinly. The Dearborns (hi, boys) were excellent additions, but it might be prudent to think about extending our ranks a bit more. I'm not talking open membership, but active recruitment. More active than it has been. There's so much untapped potential out there and so many people who could help, who want to help. It's just something to think about.

But uh, that said, I'm stepping down from the Advanced Guard for a while.

Katie & I investigated a rmr about a group of hikers gone comatose in GH. We got there & a DE a turned up minutes later. Def think I fought her @ the safe house. The hikers are no t ok. We got two to safety, other two gone. We need Hrs. At my fam's cabin at [coordinates].

Not to be an alarmist, but there are definitely giants in Tinworth. At least two of them. I tried contacting the DRCMC about an hour ago and they haven't sent anyone, not that I expected them to. Do with this information what you will, but I really suggest staying inside.

Two people lost their lives horrifically last night because the Ministry failed to respond to a very real threat. But I guess it's okay because they were muggles and everyone has lost all sense of decency and humanity.

I'm going to shelters and pet stores Tuesday before I have a late night shift. Anyone want to come along? I think cute animals are a good distraction.

Tan Jones Investments has decided to extend its self-defence classes, meaning they're running through the end of October now. We have both magical and hand-to-hand training services. I'll still be teaching women and girls, but there are a few mixed classes. Information is on the website. Please, remember to be safe.

The Ministry is really doubling down on this Muggleborn registration thing, huh.

Tan Jones Investments is not currently hiring (our turnover rate is astonishingly low!), unfortunately, but we are offering courses on self-defence and home security. Yours truly will be teaching the defence class for women and girls over sixteen, Thursdays at 4PM for the next four weeks. I cannot stress how important self-defence is, especially for young women.
