[Quidditch players]

I really don't know how to say this, but three Healers have independently confirmed to me that I'm unlikely to play Quidditch again. The short version is: Death Eaters suck. The long version is: Death Eaters really suck.

Anyway. It's been good playing against all of you all these years. I'll miss that, even with the way the league looks at present.

I caught the last half hour of the Stonewall Stormers match this morning. They have some great new talent over there, it's nice to watch. Since we're low on good Quidditch news back home, I mean.

Hey I meant to ask you, how's Terry doing with the whole... Hogwarts being a Death Eater factory thing? I don't know if I told you, but Eurig didn't go back. It was a whole thing with the MRC. So I hope Terry's doing all right at school, whatever that even means these days. I'm not sure.

happy 2018. we're only two hours and nineteen minutes in, but i already feel like this year has a 57% chance of being better than 2017.

they've made it. i told them not to contact me again unless they really need us but... yeah. it's done, and i was feeling okay about that but now i'm not so sure. what'll happen anyway? which, i know that you don't know that. nobody does. it's just that i'm on this ward with others who have hogwarts students in the family, and they all seem very sure that not letting the kids return isn't actually possible. so um, if i end up in azkaban over this, please feed my cats?

ok so nerys says my christmas present for her can be signing for a team in australia or something and get my dumb ass out of the country. ffion says only thing she wants is for me to grow a pair and stand up for what i believe in. bc i guess they like to keep me on my toes or something.

1. i forgot grace's birthday. AGAIN. do you think she'd mind getting a set of quidditch gloves? AGAIN.

2. hogsmeade weekend on the 28th. would i be the most embarrassing dad in existence if i insisted on checking up on e. while he's not on school grounds? not being embarrassing is so much harder when there's actually potential death in proximity to... well, everything.
