Layla surprised me. I liked her. [...] Is it bad that I'm curious to know her reasoning? Maybe I should be but I've never been about completely writing people off. On the other hand, she aligned herself with a hate group.

I'm going to stay positive though and just continue to believe none of you are secretly death eaters or death eater-adjacent.

Instead of resolutions, I've set intentions for the new year. Won't share them all publicly, but the gist is that I intend to help make this world a better place for everyone. This includes werewolves, vampires, muggleborns, and non-magic folk. If you've a problem with that, then you're probably a terrible person (but that's none of my business). :)

I also plan on getting another dog!

I found an instructional video on casting a patronus on Wiztube that's all wrong. Extending an offer to anyone who might be interested in learning, even if I don't know you. Just hit me up! Obviously we all need this thing we didn't learn in school.

Funny how some people leave Hogwarts with all their credentials but remain children. 🙂

Question for those who are stupid in support of muggleborn registration: why do you think muggleborns (and muggles for that matter) are dangerous?

I signed up for this wizarding dating app called The Guild. (It's hard to meet people when you feel like you're working 24/7). Basically it vets all applicants and puts you on a waiting list. I finally made it through and the optons thus far are dismal at best. Also there's no way to tell whether or not someone is secretly a purist/ death eater. 😑

There's so much undue pressure put on kids to act a certain way and be respectful and etc, yet more and more it's grown ass adults I see behaving like children with no home training. Curious!

Just so you know, hit training is harder than it looks. Even for an athlete. And there's no adrenalin rush like with quidditch. At least not in training. Can't speak for when I actually start fighting crime. Also don't yet know how this [...] news will impact our work.

To close, I might already be regretting my decision not to become a famous quidditch player, but perhaps it's too early to tell.
