So while all is now well, there were complications with Sturgis's injury in that darling Bella's knife was cursed. I've been working around the clock to neuter it and Leon was then able to heal the wound as normal.
While I crawl off to bed for a couple of hours, please take the opportunity to use this as a space to discuss what's necessary, or to bounce/recap on ideas for our next venture. I'd personally like to put those bastards on the back foot for once.

Like the model citizens that we are, Sturgis and I have registered for and received our identification. Here's what we have found:
- The IDs appear to be part of a network in the same way that the journals are, though more information and possible trial and error is needed on this.
- There are anti-tampering spells on the IDs which will cause some side effects if you try and tamper with them, even just a spell to determine what they are. My attempt made my ears ring for a couple of hours.
- As I did not find any traces of dark magic on the cards at all (which I am supremely confident in), I believe the deterrent spells to generally be "relatively" benign, perhaps similar to an attempt to get into the girls' dorms at Hogwarts or cross an age line for the TriWizard Tournament (hello, Fred and George).
- There is definitely a tracking spell of some sort on them, though we've yet to determine how specific it is. Until we as a group have more information, if you have a Ministry registered address that is different to the place you actually reside in, I would recommend leaving your card at the former when you're not at work, just in case. Unnecessary advice is unnecessary.
- The biggest difficulty thus far seems to be in breaking the anti-tamper enchantment, but in comparison to some wards that I've had to deal with in the past, I believe this to be eventually achievable.
- TLDR, as my children say, but I think that the Ministry rush on these things is to our advantage. There is only so much they can do when they're having to process the majority of the magical population in a mere week.
What else have others found? Has anyone tried to duplicate these cards, or discovered something else about the tracking charms? We should also eventually look at perhaps how halfblood cards compare to pure, or if those of us who are more obvious Phoenix suspects have anything extra placed on their cards.

Auror Robards and I have arranged free Patronus lessons for the public, with him unaware of my connections here, naturally. He knows that I can cast a corporeal Patronus through my job at Gringotts, which is wholly accurate.
The first will take place on Wednesday evening, 7:30 pm, at an abandoned chapel in Bermondsey [apparation coordinates]. We are not advertising this publicly. I would be appreciative if you helped get news of this out through word-of-mouth. Naturally, choose who you share this with wisely.
Also since we anticipate this being shut down almost as quickly as Celestina Warbeck's latest single, I have produced a flier with step-by-step instructions and moving diagrams. It's no substitute for in-person instruction, but perhaps this will help some to progress on their own.

The chapel is set up and fitted with Muggle repelling wards—and a few that will stop anyone else entering the premise until I take them down.
For our more advanced learners, I was thinking that we could fit a portion of the room with depressing charms to simulate something closer to a genuine Dementor environment. The absolute beginners could likewise be in an area with cheering charms. Thoughts?
