Catching up with the Williamsons

Where: The family home of Uncle and Auntie Williamson
When: Around mid-day
Who: Jace, Isaiah, Lizzy, and the rest of the Williamson crew...minus Josiah

It never failed to impress Jace when Isaiah turned into his bird form and took to the sky, granted he'd seen it about a million times over the years but it was still pretty breathtaking. True to his word the first thing he did when he woke up was to check for wind conditions, and seeing that it was pretty stable, ran into Isaiah's room and woke him up like a little kid on Christmas morning.

And that was how he spent his first morning back in Scarlet Oaks.

That, however, was a few hours ago. At this current moment in time, Jace was attempting to not only hold onto Isaiah's waist as they sped to the Williamson's place on said were-falcon's motorcycle...all the while keeping Quinn tucked in his leather jacket. As they pulled into the driveway and Jace slid off his helmet, he made a mental note that he would definitely be riding that thing at some point. As Jace practically bounded up the stairs on the front porch he knocked on the door before swinging it open and calling inside, "Honey, I'm hoooooooome!"

Too many years fighting back tears, why can't the past just die?

Who: Lia, and then Catherine Boughton, Mary Boughton, Helen Atherton and David Atherton (all NPCs)
When: Monday, June 29th, 2009 and flashback to June 2002
Where: Lia's apartment and flashback to New York City
What: A day to remember

It seemed almost impossible that she could forget what day it was. After all, it was the one day a year she knew her family was in the same place as she was. With the notable exception of this year. This year, she was in Michigan while the family gathered together, lay lilies at her grave (though Lia knew she preferred roses) and remembered the woman who was Catherine Boughton. She was the woman who was responsible for the woman Lia had become. She would never regret anything about knowing her, about loving the woman who had shown her what she was. How could she?

Dreaming of you won't help me to do all that you dreamed I could. Passing bells and sculpted angels, cold and monumental, seem for you the wrong companions. You were warm and gentle. )

Match made in hell?

Who-Sammy and Lex
Where Another bar( big surprise!)
When:just passed midnight
Rating: TBA

Sammy licked her lips contentedly as she walked into the bar, completely sated from earlier kill. She Had spent the better portion of the evening hunting, and now she just wanted to have a few drinks and relax. She had only been in town for two days, but already it felt familiar. There was plenty of sport for her craving, and there was enough bars for her to go around undetected. She enjoyed the amount of supernaturals this town had to offer, it made her feel better. to know that she was among people of her own status and caliber.

She slid into a booth in a corner, forsaking her usual perch at the bar for something a little more subtle. Since she wouldn't be hunting, she wanted to try and keep as low of a profile as possible. she was in no mood to be hit on by drunken men. She flagged down a waitress and ordered six shots of Rum and two of tequila. She wanted to drink enough to keep her euphoria, but not enough to get drunk.( though it would take a lot more than 8 shots to do that for her). She also didn't want to have to constantly keep flagging the waitress down to get another drink, ordering them in bulk worked well for her.

take these broken wings

Who: Domina and a demon (npc)
When: Afternoon
Where: Scarlet Oak Community Park

Several days had passed since Domina's mother had unveiled her plan, and Domina had slowly been losing her mind the entire time. She wasn't sure what the hell her mother was waiting for, but every time she asked about it, she was given some vague answer. Until today. Eleanor Moriarty had informed her daughter that she needed to be at Scarlet Oak Community Park at five o'clock. And just like that, Domina realized she would have much rather not know when it was coming.

Domina had been involved in her fair share of physical violence. She was a hunter by nature, of course. But her prey consisted of weaker creatures. In high school, if her prey resorted to physical retaliation, she'd had no few minions who would gladly step up to fight for her, and even think that it was their idea to begin with. Domina picked her battles carefully, and she never, ever went against a foe she knew she wasn't strong enough to face.

She wasn't sure she was strong enough to face this one. )

Violin playing is a physical art with great traditions behind it.

Who: Nell and Open to Anyone
When: Afternoon-ish
Where: Park

It had been a total of five days she'd spent inside, no more then a glance out the window before rolling back into bed. There were periods when she felt almost normal, the hole on her chest momentarily covered so she could breath and move without any pain. It wasn't physical, hadn't been for a while but the echoes of it still existed and when she felt like that, which she had the past week, she didn't like moving. With an almost determined edge, she sat up in bed that morning, intending on pulling herself out of her emotional hole. Nell forced a smile on her face that she didn't feel, picked up her violin and acquainted herself with the strings and the movement, smiling again. This time it as real, she felt it this time, even if it was small twinge.

Showering, eating and dressing herself, Nell packed up her violin and walked purposefully toward the park. The day was hot, the sky grey and with a wry smile she thought it fit her current mood. Parking herself behind a few trees, Nell sawed away at the strings, testing them and warming up before transitioning smoothly into Caprice No. 5. Her fingers only fumbled a few times and she restarted every time, only getting slightly annoyed. After all, it had been five days since she'd last played.
