So while all is now well, there were complications with Sturgis's injury in that darling Bella's knife was cursed. I've been working around the clock to neuter it and Leon was then able to heal the wound as normal.

While I crawl off to bed for a couple of hours, please take the opportunity to use this as a space to discuss what's necessary, or to bounce/recap on ideas for our next venture. I'd personally like to put those bastards on the back foot for once.

The Appleby Arrows players and staff extend their sincere condolences to those who lost family and friends during Saturday’s attack, and our thoughts and prayers are with the injured.

The Quidditch Players Association had been planning to launch its new charitable endeavour next month, but given the situation we will be starting early by raising funds for the families of the injured and deceased. More information will be available soon, but in the meantime you can send donations to [Gringotts vault details].

I realise there are a number of obstacles involved - my former siblings, the magical government, the reputation of the Order of the Phoenix, your ongoing feud with the Muggleborn Registration given their general dislike over your existence, the fact everyone seems to be reeling desperately from hurt and betrayal and thus celebrations feel inappropriate atbest - but I also don't want to let the day pass without some sort of celebration. I know it won't be the same, but I do love you and I would like to do something for just us before we're, I don't know, what do old ladies do? Collect kneazles? Talk about violent youths? Listen to terrible WWN shows? We've got a head start with that cat but I refuse to listen to soap operas. Our lives are an eternal soap opera.

The Dearborns mother is dead, they're rather injured, and unfortunately Rabastan and I have sustained some injuries too. We'll be seeking medical attention. Please feel free to laugh at the Dearborns whatever chance you get! It'll be such fun.
