Who: Treat and Eztli (Tanith's familiar)
When: Late afternoon/early evening
Where: Treat's house
Eztli had stopped lamenting the fact that he'd somehow ended up with such a
difficult human, but he still wasn't stupid. Tanith had been
angry, and a lot of other emotions Eztli wasn't used to picking up from her, so he had decided it was best to give her a few days to cool off. He had spent his time back and forth between Treat's neighborhood, and the Ad Gustum grounds. At first he had just wanted to make sure Treat survived, and then there had been all sorts of interesting activity at his house. What was that thing humans were always saying? Curiosity killed the cat?
Eztli had finally decided it was time to check in on Treat. He had come to the conclusion that Tanith wasn't going to do it, and one of them really needed to. He had seemed quite unhappy, and that hadn't really made sense to Eztli, but Treat probably had his reasons. He wanted to know that Treat was going to be okay, and then he wanted to know those reasons.
He headed up the paths to Treat's house, but saw no car in the drive. Well, that was okay. He could wait. He stretched out in front of the front door, just to make sure he wouldn't miss him. He could wait.
