All these colors and shapes and sounds were lovely, but there was something missing. Something bronze-shaped and turquoise-haired. No, that wasn't right. The memory of what Athena looked like skewed itself in the Gabriel's mind and she giggled, her feet leading her back into town. She fumbled for her cell phone in her purse, briefly looking through her contacts before she found the right one. The sound of the ringing in her ears made the vampire giggle again -- really! It sounded like computerized music played by monkeys -- as she waited for Athena to pick up on the other end. She sang a little bit while she waited, her voice low at first before she reached up into her range and made it a high sound. That was fun! She heard a click and that made her smile as the pretty one answered the phone. "Atheeenaaaaa," She drew the woman's name out in a low, sing-song voice, the name ending on a laugh. "It's me. Halne." Because she wanted to make sure that Athena knew exactly who it was, in case she didn't guess from her voice. She skipped as she waited for the beautiful woman to say something, imagining that she could see strange goblin faces in the glass store-fronts she passed. "Can I see you? I'd like to. Are you busy?" Halne's proper, reserved way of speaking was so far out the window, and it was really no wonder -- why did she need to stand on ceremony when the world looked so happy to her, images of her children and her husband and her sire aside.
Humming a little tune, Halne turned in a circle as she walked. It made the colors burst in her sight, blurring and mixing together to make ice cream in the air. "Oooh, mint was my favorite," she said to no one in particular. Remembering that she was still on the phone, Halne smirked. "Oh! Athena! You should see this place. It's amazing! Can I see your place? Are you wanting to see me, too?" Because that would make the vampire quite happy. Athena made her happy, and why shouldn't she go see her? "Unless you don't want to," she murmured. This thought brought a pout to her lips, which disentangled itself from her face and became a pink colored butterfly. "Pout butterflies, Athena. They exist."
