I finally saw IT and I have to say I was severely disappointed. Not scary in the least bit. Quite frankly, I'm not sure what all the hoopla was about with that one.
And when did the price of tickets become so expensive? Not to mention the price of the refreshments. When I was younger, my parents and I could all go to see a film AND have some snacks for roughly the price of a large popcorn these days, I swear. Next time I'm just going to smuggle in some ginger newts and buy a new cauldron with the money I'll save.
Thankfully, I did finally have some avocado toast this weekend and that was rather delicious. It nearly made up for the disappointment that was all the money I spent on date night at the cinema.
Lastly, I found a potato in the garden that looks like a bear. Almost feel bad eating this one.
