Vanille's fingers could barely hit the speed dial key for Belle's number. They fumbled at first, hitting the one for Fang. But Fang was right there, the woman's sweaty hand barely clutching on to Vanille's. A second try proved more lucky, and the phonecall went through.

"Ring, Ring."

>> Hey sweetie
>> What do you want for dinner?
>> I'm on my way back from the airport.

Hello Mr. Wolfwood... this is Vanille.

I uhm... well, it's been a week, and I wanted t'just check in and make sure that you were still okay. I guess if you weren't, Belle probably woulda told me, but I haven't left my room much I just wanted to check for myself, I guess.

If you don't wanna talk to me, I'll understand.

Vanille was glad that Fang's number was on speed dial. She'd been in such a rush as it was that she hadn't even shut the shower off. The bathroom was filling with steam but she didn't care. Hopefully Fang wasn't busy.

"Ring,Ring"

This brightly wrapped box seems to have been left for Jess by a delivery service of some kind. Inside of it is a gorgeous collection of silver-inlaid combs and a brush, along with some crystal hairpins and decorative clips. Attached is a note:

"Hey, Jess! I know it's been a bit since you were all cured up, and maybe this present will seem kinda weird. I hope you won't think so! I just thought... You'd have some pretty hair growing in soon, and maybe you'd want a few nice things to go with it.
