My name is Frank Hardy. We have never met before, but I have been told that you are the person to speak to regarding antiquities. I am a writer currently researching pirate lore here in California and I'm looking for an old French cutlass that was believed to have been left here in the early 19th century. I know that it has a white hilt and matching engraved scabbard. I know this is likely a long shot, but have you heard of a sword like that having been recovered in this area?

I don't know if I'm drunk or I somehow, mysteriously, huffed too much paint fumes but my house is different.

Everything's all nautical-themed, like vintage scraps of wood and seductive-looking lamps and sea glass! Plus, huge. Did I mention huge? I really enjoy how huge everything is, how much space there is, it's delightful.

I'm going to throw a party to ensure it's not just me who is stoned beyond belief. Everyone's invited!

Holy shit, I can't believe Chris had to remind me that my birthday's in five days. Usually I'm more on top of all the excuses to get hammered with my friends.
