I dreamed.

Not much - but I dreamed of growing up in Cairo, just like you said, Logan. I was so young when it happened - just out of nowhere, I even remember being outside and just ... like a judgment from the heavens.

All in the space of the dream, I was unconscious, then stepping through a wasteland. In my head, I guess - but then I woke up and I was pinned. Under rubble. For ... forever. I have no idea how long it was in the dream, but when I woke up, I was crying. I haven't cried since my grandmother died.

I'm interested and curious and terrified and angry all at the same time. I didn't ask for this. I'm still not 100% sure that the roof of my condo won't come crashing down now. Just. I don't know what I even expect to get out of this; I just wanted you all to know.

Dani was in a pretty pissy mood when she heard about Scott stopping by, but she was too tired to really be that angry with him by the time she dialed his number.

I'm looking at paint options for the bedroom I've co-opted into being my study. I need a second opinion. Is this color too dark? The thought is accompanied by the color and a mental image of what it would look like on the walls. I think it might be, but it's kind of nice. Also, we don't have a name for our baby yet. She's going to be born in three months and we have no idea what we're going to call her.
