Hey, we haven't met yet - but I'm Gale, Wash's friend. He's told me a lot about you which was why I'm sort of baffled about what happened. He thinks you have all his files because you're out for revenge or something.

What the fuck is going on-- I don't need to know the whole story but I just need to know you're not going to try anything with him. And whatever you tell me, I won't tell him, but maybe if he calms down and is assured that his CO isn't trying to fuck his shit up then he'd be more amenable to talking this out.
