I jus' wanted t' announce that th' Rusty Spoon will be undergoin' a name change t' Merlotte's an' will be officially open as of right now. As in all our construction is finally done.

I was looking' t'celebrate tonight an' I figure after all of th' therapy some of y'all could really use a drink er'two. This one especially goes out to everyone who helped me put everythin' together and t'make this possible. Thanks for all your hard work!

I'd really appreciate y'all comin' in and at least seein' th' menu or takin' a load off. I have a pool table an' y'kin play cards or jus' plain socialize and cure what ails ya. We made some finger foods and bits o'stuff t' sample from th' menu too.

So stop on by an' I promise ya won't have t'spill yer guts unless it's t'the porcelain goddess.

[Sizzle and Sear is the location of this group therapy as described by the message. A few of the larger tables have been pushed together in a corner of the room, chairs all around them. There is food and drink--although there is a two-alcoholic drink limit--already set out for them. Particularly a large bowl of M&Ms set in the center that seems very out of place considering the food provided in this restaurant (do feel free to put some into a bowl for you!). On one side of the table is a box of art supplies. Paper, pens, markers, paints, glue, and even tiny cut-outs of shapes.

On the other end of the table is two stack of papers--of different pictures. One of line art, the other actual photos. That first stack? Different ways people die. Some of them may seem very specific to certain characters. The other stack? Strange images, some blurry, some bright, some very dim. They're may be people in them, there may be ceilings, darkness, a variety of things that may seem very random at first. But to some those images may look familiar. They might not realize why at first, but it could hit them that the photo they just so happened to pick up is the last thing they saw before they died (or had their last near death experience, no one is saying which).

At each place setting around the table there is a piece of paper with questions, topic starters, activies. The sentinels will let everyone know they will be able to leave sooner if they participate.]

[ after spending a few days under the radar, something very unlike cordelia to do, she feels like slipping back under those warm and familiar covers. cordelia's going to keep this short and sweet. kind of like how this place likes to keep angel's visits. she thinks it's literary - or hell dimension-ary - genius at its finest right here. ]

This tank really has a thing for playing ping pong, doesn't it? [ she doesn't sound impressed in the slightest. from feeling good to feeling absolutely horrible and alone within a day, cordelia's not really appreciating the way this aquarium reels people in only to toss them back out. it's kind of impolite. ]

Is there a reason why this place keeps bringing people in only to take them right out?

[ she mutters: ] God, I need a drink.

[ Dean gives a smoldering look to the camera and quietly tips his hat up with a forefinger. ] So tell me partner, where can a man get a drink around here?

What an interesting sounding "holiday". I wonder what they cobbled together to get that. Hats? Secret words?

[ retail therapy, here cordelia chase comes.

she's currently in sector 3, shuffling around bull's eye in hopes of finding some items of clothing that she can see herself wearing here. she might be looking for angel, too, since a few bright colours in his dark and depressing closet might do him a world of good. she's not betting on it, but it's nice having a distraction.

she's currently looking through a clothing rack. catch her at a rack for women, where this one has a few tops she feels would look great on her figure, taking one off the rack and pressing it against her chest to see if it looks as though it'll fit or look nice on her. or catch her at one that contains men's shirts, pulling the hanger off the metal bar to see how the lining feels and whether or not it can withstand the hell angel will, undoubtedly, put it through. on her arm rests a dark, purple top that she wants to try on after she's gathered her army of garments to take to the fitting rooms. she's far from that stage, however; cordelia's not leaving bull's eye empty-handed. ]

[ Claire's been thinking about this for a few days. She's spoken to more than one vampire in a brief period of less than a week, and she's had Angel to think about before that. She's curious, and since she can't die... She can regenerate her blood... Maybe there's something she can do to make their lives easier. ]

So, I'm curious. How many vampires are here, exactly? What do you guys do for food? Somebody mentioned the blood bar but -- that's gotta get old, right? I mean, it's not like I know - I've never had blood, I'm not a vampire, I don't get the difference. French fries and chocolate milk all the way for me. Guess I'm just wondering.

[ faith could be found all around the dome today, but the action happens later in the day at the athletic center.

instead of stopping by to train earlier, faith waits until the evening to go work out some aggression. it's been a wake up call; both forcing herself not to use her slayer gifts and forcing herself to be more conscious when using them. this session doesn't go so well; some of the equipment looks a little worse for wear after faith's done with it. her hands took a little more abuse than normal, too. ouch. ]

Yo, so what's the deal with the cage, anyway? Our points work out? Cause I could do with some metal-bending. [ to keep her from doing some people-bending... ]

[ angel's taken his quest to get the hell out of dodge a step further, currently located at a back table of the library with a notebook, pen, and pile of books. there's several pages of notes and scribbles already adorning the notebook's pages, things he's pulled from memory, but some of it's incomplete and a large portion of it is presently just not doable under these conditions. which was frustrating, considering he had clients back at wolfram & hart who jumped dimensions through pan-dimensional doorways all the time, people who flitted back and forth between one reality and the net as if it were as simple as leaving one room and entering another. he refused to believe there wasn't some way around whatever the wardens and their higher ups (as he was certain they weren't at the top of this prison chain; a big brother type was watching, they always were). there was always a loophole, it was just a matter of finding the damned thing. ]

[ dropping the pen, angel leaned back in his chair, pressing his fingers to the bridge of his nose. nerfing illyria's powers? good idea at the time, but if she were here, that ability to hop across worlds would come in handy. ]

[Fashioned with some unique outfit, Kurt finally feels its okay to be seen on camera. After having a talk with his roomie Quinn, and gathering his thoughts on a set of notecards. He has a few things to say, not many he promises.]

So I hear there is a Glee club around here? If you're a member of the Glee club I would like to meet you.

[The stores have a lot of variety and a decent supply of the basics, but it's all set up for a small prison population and it shows. So, Sam decided to stop at three of the stores before he felt good about the amount of salt he had. New prison. New stockpile. Maybe picking a rainy day wasn't the best choice for this particular mission, but he found a bright orange poncho to hold over it when he was between places and on his way home. Nothing suspicious here!]

[ that sounds and looks like random keysmash, but it's actually a powerful incantation that's used to open portals between earth and pylea. unfortunately, it doesn't like opening the door to the land without song in this place, but that's not going to stop angel from taking the phrase for a daily spin. forever stubbornly determined to get the hell out of here and patient beyond all reason, he'll keep trying it and other various methods until he finds something that works. he's got time. ]

Always out of batteries... [ sigh. ] Here's the deal. I've got the magical side of this down, but the science? Not really something in my area of expertise. I sort of predate all those theories and new age mumbo jumbo, and never really had a reason to sit down and [ care ] learn more than the basics. And I had people - friends - who knew about this stuff a lot better than I did, who aren't around anymore to put their heads together and explain things to me in layman's terms. [ it's an awkward announcement to make, being that quinn didn't really know the girl. she'd gone looking for her to ask some questions about the cheerleading squad and had discovered she'd been sent home. quinn couldn't really be sad for her, as earning your way out of the prison was something she viewed as a good thing. she was happy for this girl she didn't know, though sad for the people still here who had been close to her. ]

I guess that means the cheerleading squad's without a captain. [ surprisingly, quinn doesn't want the position. she's directing and managing the glee club right now, and she's done her time as a cheerleading captain. someone else can take command of marinanova's cheerleaders. ] Who else here was on the squad or interested in it besides Elena and Caroline?

[Hi Marina! There's a clothed Viking on your video. He's had a chance to fill half of Sookie's closet with new clothes and right now he's wearing a pair of jeans, a black wife beater and a black leather jacket. No, it's not a long trench coat. He'll let other vampires in the prison wear that look.]

Sex licenses. Isn't that a bit invasive? Particularly considering I'm unable to produce children in that manner. I am curious about them though. Are they common here or is everyone pretending to be chaste and pure?

[He starts to switch the feed off then pauses, as if considering something a moment. Since his arrival, he's gotten into three brawls over Sookie. He's been here three days. He feels that's a bit excessive and eventually he's bound to destroy something in a brawl. It might do to issue warnings now while it's on his mind and before it becomes a punishable offense.]

There is a prisoner here by the name of Sookie Stackhouse. I'm certain many of you know her. There's been a few misunderstandings lately that have resulted in altercations. I feel I should warn everyone else before another breaks out.

[Pause for dramatic effect because whether he'll admit it or not, Eric is dramatic.]

Sookie is mine. Any offense made toward her will result in the offender having to deal with me. Believe me when I say that robots and any punishment they may decide to level at me will not stop me from ripping your head from your shoulders if you touch her.

[ castiel is testing out his abilities! this means he is popping in and out all over the facility -- into the library, onto the speaker-island, into your bathroom while you're taking a shower, over your shoulder as you wait on those sciencey results -- you name it, cas is there! staring. watching. waiting.

he might even go so far as to bring you along elsewhere with him, just to see if he can! maybe he leaves you there, and maybe you get stuck via the facility's fun little prison-bar glitch. hopefully he doesn't forget you? ]

So, if everyone is coming in, does that mean there's a way out?

[ cordelia's probably getting a little hopeful on that front - and she looks it. if people can come in in massive packs, then clearly there has to be an exit. ignoring everything she's been told about there being no way for clicking your heels and waking up back home, cordelia really wants to believe that there's a chance. despite the fact that she'd go home to die, it meant that her friends got to go home and live - and save the world about nine more times before they can hit retirement. that sounds pretty damn good to her.

and if you want to catch cordelia, she'll be lingering around the prison anywhere, anytime. it's not like she has a lot to do around here besides walk and window shop. ]

[ that welcome message didn't help for squat. at least the communication device is much easier to figure out, and after cursory inspection to ensure it won't shock the bejeezus out of her fred decides it's time to make a cry for help.

Wow, really? Not even a breather for a week or two? Seriously, I just got back from hell. [Groans in annoyance before continuing.] Okay, I guess LA never technically went to hell, but we all remember it so it still counts. I've got things I need to do. Like figure out what to do about my relationship. So, you know, if you could let me go back home that would be awesome.
