[ Claire's been thinking about this for a few days. She's spoken to more than one vampire in a brief period of less than a week, and she's had Angel to think about before that. She's curious, and since she can't die... She can regenerate her blood... Maybe there's something she can do to make their lives easier. ]

So, I'm curious. How many vampires are here, exactly? What do you guys do for food? Somebody mentioned the blood bar but -- that's gotta get old, right? I mean, it's not like I know - I've never had blood, I'm not a vampire, I don't get the difference. French fries and chocolate milk all the way for me. Guess I'm just wondering.

[ Not an idiot; not to Elena. Maybe just young and uninformed about vampires. ] But it would be... could be being used. [ Vampires aren't exactly respectful of their... food (the word thought of with such disdain for said vampires and the act of snatching, eating, and erasing) and not exactly against the violence of taking it, either. ] I'm not saying you're idiot, I'm just saying there are other ways to be hurt.
