Prison?? Crimes?? Fuck you. And the Earth human horse. You sauntered in on.

But I guess there is. A very happy side of this story:

[ If you happen upon the arcade, however, you'll find one green skull-faced alien rather contentedly losing at shooting games. One leg of his green dress-pants is ripped and stained with red blood while a shiny metal leg resides under it! The human-shaped foot does not match his other one, which is clawed and reptilian. ]

[ Hello Marina. Have a young Sam Winchester Dean Forester peering at you. It's difficult to tell if he's more scared or pissed off or confused, but however you interpret his expression it's pretty clear that he really doesn't like this situation one bit.

There's some hesitation, like he's not sure how stupid this really is and if he really should give in to weird delusions. ]

So, uhm. I've had some pretty strange dreams, but this one really takes the cake. I mean, usually it's something stupid like going to school without any pants on or playing softball with a group of penguins. This is, uh… this is a little too serious for my taste.

Do I have to get someone to pinch me or can I just wake up whenever?

[ It was only later on during the day that Nuriko had decided to make use of the magical artifact that was once attached to hir head. Button-mashing sure had its uses and zie gets to see projections of people in it! At some point, the Warden's message had played back and it only served to tick hir off. Perhaps talking at it would summon the Warden... ]

You know, for someone who call themselves a prison Warden, they sure don't have much by way of honor. They don't even have the guts to come to you face to face and tell you what you're charged of, and what your sentence is, specially after dragging you to their so-called prison in an underhanded manner.

So Warden 'Veridical' or 'Conscienti' or whatever your name is, know that I have a mission under the orders of the Emperor of Kounan, and for that, I have a ship to catch. Your city's pretty, I'll give you that, but I don't have time for this.

[ -- also that ship has hir DRESSES but zie's not going to fret about that in public, sheesh. Nuriko's taking a walk around the dome, touching the glass as if trying to find a way out -- may it be something visible or something that can be triggered. ]

The police are capable of some really scary things!

[ Despite there being words on the screen to go with the glossy black visor, the ambient sounds around here make it clear that the individual on camera does not have the feed muted; she just can't talk! The woman is wearing a sleek black motorcycling riding outfit and a yellow helmet (complete with cat ear-shaped vents atop it) investigating the Stables in Sector 1.

Celty cannot find Shooter anywhere, and is just generally a little frazzled. Feel free to approach her there or anywhere near the sprawling Athletic Complex as she wanders about. ]

[ What appears on the video feed is a young-looking girl with a quite the good poker face, and the oddly mechanic voice to match. However, it seems as if she isn't very solid, as if she blends into the video feed, or that she is one elaborate holographic display. ]

I was told that my placement here was temporary. I find that this is not the case.

[ There's a girl sleeping at one of the tables in the Vampire Blood Shack in Sector 5, and eventually she lifts her head, blinks sleepily, and looks around. Blink. Blink. Blink. ]

((ooc: C.C. is from Code Geass and it's been a while since she's visited the prison, but she still has her memories! She is immortal (no, really) so she's available for all sorts of things (vampire feedings, etc.) Any geass-granting would probably require mod approval.))

So, if everyone is coming in, does that mean there's a way out?

[ cordelia's probably getting a little hopeful on that front - and she looks it. if people can come in in massive packs, then clearly there has to be an exit. ignoring everything she's been told about there being no way for clicking your heels and waking up back home, cordelia really wants to believe that there's a chance. despite the fact that she'd go home to die, it meant that her friends got to go home and live - and save the world about nine more times before they can hit retirement. that sounds pretty damn good to her.

and if you want to catch cordelia, she'll be lingering around the prison anywhere, anytime. it's not like she has a lot to do around here besides walk and window shop. ]

[ you know what's really great? dying for the third time. darla's really into the whole death scene, you know. she definitely knows that the fourth time is very much not the charm when it comes to her. but ending up in a prison after staking herself (or right before staking herself, considering how the rules work around here) is not anywhere on her list of things to do for today. ]

Anyone else's list of crimes manage to put them to sleep?

[ she doesn't really care. her list is pretty impressive, and she's glad that someone appreciates the bad stuff she's done over the last four centuries. but she has a very important question. ]

The welcome package is surely lovely, but I'm afraid it's missing one thing. Anyone know where I can grab a snack?

[ darla's hanging out by the beach, sunbathing on a towel she's taken from one of the stores. she hasn't felt the sun on her skin since her stint as a human. she doesn't particularly like it, but it beats wandering around like a complete idiot. but at least she has a really nice pair of sunglasses. ]

[Milo has found himself in some place new and he's bound and determined to explore! It was all rather exciting, the big structures on any side. And of the grassy areas! There was just so much to see, though he isn't quite sure about the thing on its head. That's not something that was usually there. However, Milo is easily distracted by wanting to explore, especially since there are some rather strange creatures around the area]

On day 179, Jack Noir, also known as the Sovereign Slayer, kidnapped one of my dearest friends in all of paradox space. The Slayer then privately broadcasted himself trying to assault and torture my friend.

In response, I hunted him down and cut his arm off.

So! I must apologize. Not to Jack, because he's a horrible little man and had that coming, but for allowing my temper to get the better of me. And also for entertaining him and his sick little games for so long. I've learned my lesson, and I will never do that again.

[They needed to meet up someplace private, so it made sense to gather everyone back at their apartment. Zatanna was the first to arrive, leaving the door partially ajar for the others. Wally already knew where they lived and would be able to guide Artemis, and Aqualad was with Robin. As far as she knew, that was everyone on the team. So far.]

[Poor Robin Jr. had gone crazy with all the new faces, jumping and running in circles until the tiny Husky wore himself out. He currently sat in Zatanna's lap, the girl having claimed a corner of the couch, with his head in his paws. She stroked his soft fur absently as she listened to the various conversations going on in the room.]

[ So there's a whole lot of people Dirk knows showing up. And he's just kind of herding them all back to his and Jane's place like it ain't a thing. It's actually a pretty shitty meeting place, a little one-bedroom apartment with no TV or anything. But there's snacks on the table and orange soda in the fridge and a bright yellow dildo decorated with cartoon animals on display on one shelf.

[Hige had ignored the communicator for the time being. Instead, he was wandering around, sniffing at things. That's right. This kid was sniffing things. He looked human enough, except for the dog collar loosely hanging around his neck, and his pausing to sniff might seem a little strange. He had his hands tucked in his pockets as he wandered. Mostly, his sniffing was gravitating him towards food locations.]

{OOC: Hige is a wolf. However, most normal humans will see him as a human unless he chooses to let them see his wolf side. Some humans can see the wolf, and those are probably special humans. In Wolf's Rain, those who are "Nobles" can see them, and, from what understanding I was able to glean from it, Nobles are humanoid, but mystical in some way. So, I'm thinking anyone who has special powers involving sight or psychic ability would probably be able to see that he's a wolf. Also, other animals can see it. He can also communicate with other animals as well. So, if your character has a pet, the pet can tell he's not human.

Also, Hige has an ubersensitive sense of smell. If you don't want me to have him detect what your character is, let me know.}

[She's laughing lightheartedly when she starts the feed and soon Catherine comes into full view, seated comfortably at the ice cream parlor with a vanilla ice cream cone in hand.]

[She takes a nice slow lick from her ice cream and then rests her cheek on her hand.]

[She licks her ice cream one more time, slow and maybe with a suggestive sound, maybe, before she waves daintily at the camera.]

[MOMO was spending the day in the park with Ume. She had a ball and was tossing it back and forth for the dog to grab and bring back, which Ume was very happy to do, tail wagging. MOMO would shower the pup with praise and petting, sometimes a treat, and then toss the ball again for Ume to go fetch.

If she was distracted enough, she just might have tossed that ball at you!]
