Who: Ada and K-lee

When: Afternoon

K-lee'd had such a good morning with Margaret and the day was only getting better. Touring a vineyard was pretty cool, she had to hand it to Ada for having the idea. Speaking of Ada, it was nice to see her again. Sure it was all a game but she was seriously enjoying it. Ada was so genuine and open and nice that it spread. Was kind of nice to just act pleasant. And still be able to express herself in little ways. Like reaching out to sneak her hand into Ada's while they were walking, blushing a little and grateful for the sunglasses that hid her eyes. That way Ada wouldn't notice how much more she was looking at her as opposed to the surroundings. Wasn't too often that she ended up on what could be considered a third date without having actually gotten into bed... though she supposed she hadn't really been trying. Heightened the tension on her end and that could be fun.

"So," she asked, brushing her hair back and brushing a lea off her shirt. "Enjoying yourself so far? Know I am, this was a great idea."

When: Early afternoon, just after Heme opens

Even if Heme hadn't been open all that long, they still had regulars. And a good percentage of them weren't vampires. The hardcore groupies - whatever you wanted to call them, be them freshies, fangbangers, or blood dolls - were always on hand, as were the lonely people who came to Heme because they knew it wouldn't be empty. And the weekends were worse.

Thankfully, it didn't really get crowded (usually) until after the sun went down. Saoirse had a couple of people sitting at the bar (one vampire, two humans - figured), and then less than a dozen other people at tables. This was quiet, and not a bad change of pace. Might as well enjoy it, because it'd be crazy later.

She stood behind the bar, not having to pay much attention to the people sitting nearby. She could pour drinks without looking up from her cellphone or saying a word, as she texted away, trying to figure out if Heme's vampire band was going to play Big Momma Moriarty's battle of the bands. Oh yes, this was happening. This was happening, or Saoirse was going to stake herself some bitches and drag them on stage with her. End of freaking story.

Who: Bren and Dagmar
Where: Their dormroom @ UoM
When: December 2008 - finals week
What: Roommate-ly bonding, at odd hours for odd reasons

Finals week. Kajsa had told Dagmar about finals and nothing she'd said had made it sound in the least bit fun. And it wasn't, oh no, far from it. Dagmar'd witnesses three people completely break down under the stress and need to be escorted off and she totally understood why. Her nerves flitted between being strung tighter than a wire and completely loose and at ease, though there was that incidence with the girl in the caf but they couldn't prove that she'd driven her to run off in tears just because she had spilled milk on her shoes... but none of that mattered because right then it was time for sleeping. Lights were off, good nights were said and Dagmar - along with the little water fountain her mother had given her to put on her nightstand - was fast asleep.

Until something woke her up.

( It's finals and I need to sleep, not wake up because there's a fire in my room that'd cheerfully burn me into a crisp! )

Alanna understood the allure shopping held for most girls. Really, she did. Going and getting new clothes, giggling over said clothes and the boys that passed by while you were shopping or the ones who looked at you, smoothies to drink while you were going through the mall and an extremely unhealthy dinner at the food court after. All of that she understood. Granted it was more because of what she'd seen on TV and in the movies than anything else... but that counted, right? She could do the shopping thing without freaking out from all of the people and running away because she was with people that she knew and that made it okay.

Except she did not know everyone. As Alanna climbed out of her car - having decided to just come straight from campus instead of driving back and changing or something. Like I really even got dirty when I was at class... please. Shaking her hair out, Alanna walked through the parking lot and slipped into the main entrance, stepping off into a little niche to watch for the others. Well, for Ariana and Roxy. Those two she would recognize. The third one, Adelle, she had no idea what she looked like. For all she knew she could be standing right on the other side of the door. This is why you should never be the first one here. Try for last next... okay, not really. Can't have Ari freaking out because she can't find me. Sighing, she reached up t ofiddle with a piece of her hair while she waited.
