My kid is going to be the death of me before I'm even a father. We're due in days, but it feels longer.

Weeks.

Years even.

Before anyone tells me 'The time flies before you know it!' or 'They grow up in the blink of an eye!'? I've already heard it. Doesn't make me any less nervous or ready for this part to be over. I want Claire to go back to being one person again. I want our family to be a reality. I want to get this party started before the candles melt into the cake.
