This is to extend a formal invitation to the both of you to stop by, whenever you might have the time, and see a demonstration of my now completed project.

In case you hadn't read the press release, it's a relatively compact (a third the size of a human) robot that can be programmed and trained to carry out tasks and experiments that are deemed too risky for humans to complete. Things involving high levels of radiation, for instance, or explorations in environments that are unstable.

It differs from its predecessors in that while most other robots of its kind were built specifically for the task at hand, mine learns and adapts to the desired environment.

I'm very excited about it, and hope to have it ready for a wide release later this year.

I do hope this e-mail finds you well, and that you had a wonderful holiday. I've actually something I'd like to speak with you about, regarding a new position within Stark Industries. You needn't worry about your current department; I've spoken with your supervisors, all of whom speak very highly of you, and, while they do seem upset at the idea, they're understanding in letting me steal you from them. As it were.

I was rather hoping we could sit down to have a chat about it? I find such things are better said in person, and you mustn't think of it so much as an interview as it is an offer.
