Who: Locke and Eva
Where: Lenore's Bookstore and Cafe
When: Afternoon
It had been a slow day for the young boy. Way slower than normal. A combination of it being a Sunday and the fact everyone and their mom was probably at the Berry Days festivals was enough to make the small cafe close to dead. Though while he wasn't busy waiting on customers, he took the time to whip out a tiny notebook and jot down ideas for summer fundraisers for the senior class. Ok, so maybe it wasn't any teenager's ideal way to spent the summer, but if they started saving up money now, then they could coast through the school year with no worries about money. Chances of that actually happening, though? Probably nonexistent. Locke did his best to be hopeful on the matter, but... what was the point? Kids didn't seem to change no matter which lifetime he was in and he had lived his share to know that.
A gentle sigh escaped the blonde as he slipped the notebook away after a few sentences and circled around the front counter to clean over the various tables around. Now and then his green eyes glanced outside to envy the beautiful day that was occurring outside. Only a couple more hours and he'd be free to spend the evening however he felt it. His parents had been nagging at him to get out of the house and, you know, do something. Though he wasn't the kid who was glued to the internet or an Xbox. Nope, instead he was always curled up inside with a nose in a book or writing. His parents merely wanted him to go out and socialize, but really? That was last on Locke's to do list. Perhaps he could chill with Bunny later that week and see what she was up to. Until then, he was going to clean the cafe and pray someone came in to ease the pain of boredom.
