These flights connect through Arizona but I think I'll stay stuck Who: Eva Krasner and Locke Hartley (and Eva's familiar Olivia, NPC) Where: Eva's (Bradley's) house When: Early evening
Eva, of all people, didn't mind the rain. She would have liked to be out in the garden, yes, but a rainy day didn't help with that much, and she couldn't afford to take another fall with her leg in such shape as it was currently in. No, indoors it was, and Eva spent most of the morning going through her father's movie collection. Bradley had tons, some she'd seen, and some she hadn't, and was there a better way to spend the evening? She couldn't think of one. Hell, she'd even found popcorn in the cabinets, along with a few other snacky things.
So, she called Locke. She didn't have many friends in Scarlet Oak, this was true, and the girl couldn't stay a recluse for the rest of her life. And they'd talked about having a movie night at one point in time, so why not now? Eva had picked out a bunch of movies and Locke could bring a bunch of his own too, she'd watch anything once. It would be good not to worry about demons or vampires or family troubles for a little while.
Oh! I think I hear him! Olivia, who hadn't been with Eva the last time she'd seen Locke, was ridiculously excited at the prospect. She ran for the door, wagging her tail as she sat right beside it.
Adjusting her bracelet, Eva got to her feet and made her way over. Locke didn't know she was an elemental, yes, but that wouldn't be such a bad revelation to make. Pity Olivia didn't have actual hands to get the door for her. "Now, no pouncing on him," she reminded the dog, smile on her face. "Don't want the first friend I have over here to get the wrong impression of us, right?"
