[Early this morning, the Bat was pursued during an escape from Seattle Grace hospital. This has resulted in a flurry of press, bad surveillance video and interviews on the TV and in the papers with hospital staff and bystanders. It has also resulted in two "news" specials -

The Psychology of Vigilantes, which goes on endlessly about why vigilantes do what they do, all of it scandalous, and which includes a segment on the younger vigilante set that makes them all sound like hipster teens.

Stopping the Vigilante Problem, which focuses on ways to take vigilantes down if you encounter one on the street. It includes instructions for making a Citizen's Arrest, and it features quotes from women who claim they've slept with everyone from Robin to Rorschach.

A police conference, held shortly after the incident, assures the public that the APB is still in effect, and that vigilantes will NOT be tolerated in Seattle.]

[The one-sheeter is printed on Creations Times paper, with The Cipher's byline. The headline, which is bold and large type, is CORBINIAN TO RED MASK: DEATH IS COMING FOR YOU. The article goes on to explain the details of the Red Mask's known attacks, and it includes a very pointed critique at the fact that the Red Mask leaves parent-less children behind at his crime scenes. It closes with Corbinian's threat, in a blatant attempt to draw the Red Mask out.]

[Max's article is printed in the Seattle Times the day after the vigilante meeting. It is titled Meth Lab Destroyed, and it repeats all the intentionally incorrect police department theories on what occurred at the building, mainly that it was a meth lab destroyed in a gang power struggle. There is no mention of vigilantes, of deaths or of anything that actually happened. It's on page 2, and it bears Max's byline.]

[A one-sheeter on Creations Times print and credited to Cipher. It says nothing about Corbinian's death, nothing about what happened in the vigilante meeting, and it doesn't even mention the event as occurring. What it does give, however, is a detailed description of Deadpool's costume, weapons and appearance. The one-sheeter is titled WARNING, and it's distributed within a half hour of everything going to hell at the meeting place and left in every known Creation building.]
