THANKSGIVING EDITION The Thomas, Inc. Thanksgiving dinner was a formal affair, held on the top floor of the Thomas, Inc. The building was decked out in luxuriously festive holiday decor, and the event included entertainment by the incomparable Penny Markowicz. The dinner was held in honor of Luke Henry, a young man who has been seen repeatedly in the company of Thomas Brandon, being officially adopted by Brandon. Said the new Brandon of his surprise adoption, in a speech given to the guests: "Family comes in more than one form. Sometimes it isn't always with us, and sometimes it finds us unexpectedly." The adoption comes after months of rumors and speculation regarding Brandon's relationship with the boy. It seems now undeniable that Henry is Brandon's illegitimate child. Given the fact that the entire Brandon table was comprised of teenagers, we were left wondering if this is only the first of such announcements we should be expecting from the billionaire. [Photograph of Bunny, Luke and Quinn at the family table. Bunny looks shocked, Luke looks uncertain, and Quinn looks displeased. Henry's lovely blonde date, Bunny Lucine, left the family table after Quinn Gaines admitted to questionable activity with Henry in an alley. Lucine was immediate pursued by the new heir to the Brandon empire, and they were seen holding hands in a hallway beyond the ballroom. It seems Lucine made quick work of nabbing Seattle's newest billionaire. A fact that Gaines seemed to find unacceptable, as she left the ballroom looking upset just a few moments later, abandoning her own date, Darwin Amis. One can only wonder what this says about the potential future CEO of Thomas, Inc. [Photograph of Thomas with his arm blocking Roger's chest. Both men look angry. Caption: Bad Boy or Billionaire? Which would you choose?] The new Brandon was not the only member of the family seen causing a scene. Thomas Brandon apparently saw fit to cement his lothario playboy status by effortlessly separating Max Main, reporter for the Seattle Times, from her date, a rough looking lounge singer by the name of Roger Darman. Brandon led her back to the family table after running Darman off the dance floor with a show of force that made us wonder how much time the billionaire spends in the gym. Unfortunately for Brandon, it seemed Main was less than impressed by the evening's adoption story. A server at the main table claimed to overhear her mention a baby, before she stormed off herself later in the evening, possibly back into Darman's arms. Are future offspring are out of the question, now that Henry is heir? [Photograph of Daryl and Adam, in which Adam is very obviously looking at the show of leg on Daryl's dress. Caption: Hockney seemed interested in sizing up the crowd, while Morgenstern seemed interested in sizing her up.] Readers will be pleased to know that after reportedly kissing at the Halloween Ball at Centro, Adam Morgenstern and Daryl Hockney arrived at the dinner as a couple, confirming rumors that the pair are indeed on-again. Morgenstern was overheard making a particularly risque comment about the slit in Hockney's dress, and one can only assume the two have become much more intimate since we last saw them. Perhaps they'll be throwing their own family Christmas soon. Morgenstern certainly has the funds for the undertaking, a fact Hockney knows only too well. It's worth noting that Hockney's regular companion, Jane Cooper, was not seated with the couple. [Photograph of Anton and Reina, in which Reina is stumbling on the hem of her dress and Anton is helping to right her. Caption: What would you say if Anton Sparke insisted you take your shoes off in the middle of a formal function?] Another well-known playboy and media darling, Anton Sparke, arrived on the heels of controversy for his first public social engagement in his new home of Seattle, with a stunning new date on his arm, Reina Ignace. Her name may not be worth noting - Anton is known for his tendency to bring someone new to every event he attends, but you never know - but perhaps in a new town, this one might stick. A reminder for those of you unfamiliar with the gossip from the eastern seaboard. Sparke comes to us after an interesting, albeit tragic, run-in with the Iron Man. Maybe he'll bring a new superhero on his tails. Our own caped crusaders have been disappointingly quiet these days. |
