Phone calls and Public.

[After this and this.]

[Phone message to M. Main at the Times front desk. It's not a direct, a secretary brings a post-it in which she's inscribed the following message. She looks confused.]

Mr. Brandon says he is working late on the sleeping goat (??) case, and not to worry about staying at the mechanic's for as long as it takes to wait for news on the heirloom they're working on.

[Phone call to Oracle. Regardless of whether she picks up or it's a voicemail, he says the same thing:]

I need a trace on [Cayman Account #]. Top priority. Drop everything else. Please.

[He hangs up a second after.]

[Phone call to P. Worth. This one, he waits for a reply.]

I need a time estimate of one billion liquid. Now, Alfie.

[PUBLIC TO FORUMS.]

I need more time.

QUESTION.

So I know an apple a day keeps the doctor away, and peanut butter's pretty good at keeping jellyfish at bay, and Skittles distract leprechauns, but what's a good repellent for octopi?

Inquiring minds want to know. Or at least, I do.

It's kind of important.

[He is troubled, to say the least, after reading the article, and left wondering if it's some youngster who doesn't know any better being allowed all this creative licence and encouraging others to do whatever they feel is 'right' and break the law in the process.]

Whatever the papers say, I don't see a problem with vigilantes being subject to the criminal justice system like all us mere mortals. Whether it works or not is a different matter altogether, and one you can certainly go campaign with the Republicans over, but no one should be above the law, even if you do happen to have x-ray vision or can breathe fire out of your ass.

Okay. Hypothetically, you're walking down the street - you're listening to your IPod, you're thinking about the tuna salad you had for lunch, you're not paying attention. The most beautiful girl you've ever seen walks in front of you and you bump into each other. Apologies are made and she's gone before you can even catch her name.

You know though that this girl, this woman is someone special. But she's already out of your sight.

What do you do? (Note: your answer will have the endless thanks of one Fabian Greene. Make it good)

On another unrelated note, where's the coolest place in town to get wasted?

Since I have to be fucking tortured by goddamn christmas shiny happy bullshit from a week ago till January

What's your favorite Christmas song? Between my sister and my coworker and the lame musical selections at the mall last Friday I've already heard all of them this year and it's not even December yet. :)

You're all a bunch of fucking hypocritical brainwashed capitalist sheep

Real tree? Fake tree?

I like the smell of a real tree, but my love is fickle for a slowly dying tree carcass in my living room and that lack of enthusiasm can become a fire hazard.

Are we keeping a data base of these memories or something? I can't be the only one wondering who these memories belong to.

Sorry if this has been asked before (I haven't kept up on the forums), but those weird visions that were happening...are all the owners of the memories you see Creations? Or are they just random visions from people from Musings and people from humanity? Are the visions necessarily real?

Wow, more questions than I expected to have. I know that no one's really got any decent answers, but if you have theories, I'd love to hear them.

[After seeing this, before even replying to the anon.]

To avoid the Night Terror, you only have to WAKE UP. He has no power to keep you asleep. Don't sleep alone. Sleep in the same room with someone you trust, and wake each other up if it sounds like a nightmare is taking place.

[Locked to A. Sharpe]

Dear A. Sharpe.
I promised you recommendations, yes? I hadn't forgotten, I've just been very scatterbrained, forgive me please excuse my tardiness.

Attached is a list of therapists I've seen I know of in Seattle along with notes on their cons and pros. They're all decent but it's tricky to find one who's right for you. I'm not sure if they're seeing new patients currently but it's worth a try if you don't want to go in blind; there are just so many outright mean or incompetent therapists out there, you wouldn't believe it!

I'm sorry you're getting harassed on the forum post, I genuinely believe that if you were a pedophile if you were really doing something illegal you wouldn't be posting such things on an open forum. People can be so mean! :(

I hope you find what you're looking for.

Best regards,
Tim Castle.

I couldn't help but notice that all the information packets that I left in the lobby for PETA are still there. I would encourage everyone in Hamartia for the fifth time to pick up one of these very informative packets and read up. The treatment of animals in this country (and most of the others) is absolutely abhorrent! And they're animals. What are they going to do without people to step up and look out for them?

Even if you don't buy into all of what PETA stands for, you could at least take a look. There's plenty of non-vegetarian practices that promote the general wellbeing of animals! I also have information packets from the Humane Society, if you'd prefer.

And if anyone from either of the other buildings wants information, just ask. I don't have a problem dropping stuff off for interested parties.

Edit: For the record, I know very well that PETA can be crazy. That doesn't mean that everything they say is crazy. The information contained in the packets I'm talking about is specific and not-crazy.

Still the same quality you can always expect; just a surplus of product.

[...] Did you know you can't half-cook popcorn, then start it again when the power's back on?

In related news, it's hard to concentrate on pulling a battery out of a smoke alarm while it's... alarming. There are reasons my mom didn't let me cook.

So, yeah, if you live in Bathos, there's nothing actually on fire! Well, not anymore. Even though the microwave's a little-

... scorched.
