[He pulls a pair of bells—the ones Robin wore when they had their team laser tag match—out of the box and begins to twirl them around in a hand. Honestly, he doesn't really know why he's asking people this. One moment he was going through the stuff he's collected since he's been in the dome, and the next he got the urge to turn the communicator on.]

I used to think we would. Back when Rob and Zatanna were still here. Before I knew what was really going on. Now I'm not so sure.

[He sighs, and shakes his head. He knows this is silly, the way he's been getting all sentimental lately. But he really misses home. He misses his family and friends that aren't here. He misses not knowing what the future holds for him.]

[Kitty decided to head to Lyrical, the karaoke bar, in sector three tonight. If she can't beat this talking too much about too many things virus or whatever it is then she can at least do it while drinking, right? It'll seem more familiar that way.

You know, even before I showed up here I was wondering what the point of meeting people and making friends or having relationships was. In my line of work they just end up dead or worse anyway. Here, they just disappear or they come back and they don't remember you so you get to do it all over again. And again.

[Maybe it's a little ironic that he's opening up about why he doesn't usually open up.]
