[Duo was out and about, greeting yesterday's newbies and handing them their welcome baskets. He had borrowed one of the bicycles from the athletic center today to make it easier, and had them attached in a little wagon he was pulling behind him, attached by some bungee chords. It didn't look pretty or like an official delivery rig, but the make-shift set up worked well enough.

He was going to save Quatre's delivery for last.]

DELIVERIES

{OOC: Feel free to thread out with me your new character receiving their basket. We can also handwave it, too. Most likely, Duo will contact your character via the communicator to figure out where they are. If your character lost or damaged their communicator, he'll probably locate the lost communicator and then go back to the Post Office with it and the basket, or just not find your character until they get a new one. If your character's not answering, feel free to have him just suddenly show up or just not find them. He's a bit of a hacker, so he might be able to find them if he tries, but he's not going to try too hard, figuring some people might want to be left alone. ^_^

Also, EVERYONE!! :D Don't forget! Your characters can send mail, too! Just check out this post here to send a letter! Or, if your character is looking for rehab points or just wants something to do or even actually wants to help out, they can volunteer to deliver mail, too!}

Hello.

[Inara flashes a charming smile as she sits, soothing her skirt out around her.]

While I am well aware that we're not required to actually work here, I find myself with a lot of time on my hands....

[She exhales slowly and then clasps her hands together on her lap.]

I'm well trained in a number of areas, from Economics to music and dance, as well as psychology and music just to name a few. I would be more than happy to work or even just help out where ever anyone needs help.

I suppose I'm just hoping to find a way to pass the time more productively.

[ This video feed is sideways. Is this a side-effect of network maintenance? Maybe, but given that it's broadcasting nothing but the darkened interior of somebody's kitchen, it seems far more likely that whoever it belongs to had left their communicator sitting on a counter last night.

It's midmorning when the feed switches on. After about three minutes of darkened kitchen, the lights turn on too; if Michiru's ever hosted guests at her apartment, they might recognize the setting. Haruka ambles into the frame, dressed in nothing but a sleeveless undershirt and dark blue silk boxers. She checks the weather out the window, drums her fingers on the counter, and pulls open the refrigerator door.

She then proceeds to take a swig of milk directly from the carton. In a shared apartment. For shame.

After she's finished, she closes the fridge door and notices her communicator lying on the counter. So that's where that ended up last night. She better pick it up and make sure she hasn't missed anything important. ]

[Unshowered, smelling of alcohol, and wearing rumbled clothes and a questionable bed-induced hair style, Kitty comes walking home with the newly-returned, bullet-ridden and memory-ridden Reid. But, hey, at least they brought breakfast for their roommate and unofficial charge. Bacon makes everything better.

Kitty hopes Nathan will be home. Yesterday, when she was getting drunk she wasn't thinking about how he might feel or what he might do if she didn't make it home—which she didn't until now. She doesn't want anything to happen to him for his sake or for Reid's. He really can't handle another loss right now. Neither can she for that matter.]
