[Placing the unit back on his head, he waited a moment until he knew he could do this without worrying any of the people that he needed to contact or give his condition away immediately to people who might not be thrilled to see him back. With another deep breath, Zero turned on the video function. ]

Hikaru? Yuuri?...Saya?

[A confused pause settled for a moment before he continued.]

Are any of you still here?

[The feed flickers on to show...sand? Yeah, somebody decided to hurl her weird little headpiece thing in a fit of pique.]

No. NO!

[She continues, voice alternating between rage and despair. Eventually, the feed times out.]

[If you happen to be on the beach this morning, you may come across a teenager in a bright orange jump suit stubbornly hitting her ankle with a large rock.]

[There’s an angry hick on your communicator screen. He looks pissed off but, oddly enough, not surprised or scared about waking up in an underwater prison. There’s plenty of sarcasm in his tone, too. He's in the middle of reaching for the gun normally tucked in the back of his jeans; obviously its not there anymore, and now he's starting to look real mad under the smirk.]

Yeah, real cute. Somebody wanna tell me what the hell’s goin’ on? 'Cause last time I checked it was all polar bear cages and dead bunnies with you people. What, I don’t even get a fish biscuit this time?

[It's as far as she can get away from his current location and the apartment as she can think to get. On hands and knees, she ignores the rain, the suitcase she used upon her initial arrival to retrieve her old personal items, now sitting packed to the brim at her side. Fingers curl into the sand beneath her hands. The beach. She's back at the beach again.

He's came back. Of course he has..

Ever since her arrival she knew the likelihood and the possibility but despite that she isn't prepared. She can't live together with that person. Not now. And it's unfair of her to compromise the friends and life he's had prior to recent events. The pounding in her chest is a testimony to just how quickly her heart is racing.]

I'm so stupid.

[Even despite her frantic departure, she can't help but obsessively listen over the network too. She has to make sure that no one reminds Zero of anything unnecessary. It will be better if he stays oblivious, and her existence remains completely obliterated from his memories. That way it will be less painful.

If only she didn't have to remember as well.

With a deep breath she looks up and lets the light rain fall over her face. It looks like she'll have to find somewhere to stay. What a day for rain.]

(OOC: Can be found where she's at or wandering around holding the suitcase. Whatever is easiest!)

[She’s breathing hard, strands of her strawberry blonde hair damp and in her face as she the feed starts. Jenna Sommers has most certainly had better days. It's actually somewhat appropriate that it's raining, just to make things that much better.]

This is…-someone needs to tell me what the hell is going on. First there’s vampires, and then there’s possessions, and witches, and…

[She cuts herself off, one hand coming up to her head as if she’s in pain. Her eyes blink rapidly, the light around her to bright to handle. Maybe she has a migraine coming on.]

My…niece called me. Elena. She was terrified. I have to find her.

[But then someone had grabbed her as she’d left the house. She remembered the taste of blood in her mouth. She turns her gaze toward the device, resolved and terrified and angry.]

Why is this happening!? Why can’t you just leave us alone!?

Day 206 — Morning Greeting

It's day 206 for those of you keeping score. I do hope you enjoyed your holiday yesterday. Don't forget the stores are well stocked with an assortment of lip balms for those of you in need.

Unfortunately, some of you let your urges get out of hand. So there are punishments being sent to the communicators of:

William Pratt: Sex
Rose: Sex
Zelgadis Greywars: Sex and property damage
Saber: Sex and property damage

It seems some of you like it rougher than others. Enjoy your new wristbands. They go with everything.

Since you all frolicked about yesterday, I suppose you won't mind some rain today. It will be light and sporadic in the morning, but a bit heavy around noon, tapering off into the evening.

Day 206 [Video | Action]

[info]breakspromises
[info]marinanova
[Waking up is always disorienting for Peter. Waking up in an unfamiliar place wearing clothes that aren’t his is nearly panic inducing. It’s enough that he doesn’t really absorb or register the welcome message that is presented to him. His mind jumps to conclusions: maybe what happened to Dr. Connors is happening to him; the spider DNA is taking over the human DNA and he’s blacking out. Maybe the police caught him and he has a massive head injury, which is why he can’t remember how he got here wearing a prison jumpsuit.

Except…except when he looks around, this isn’t like any prison he’s ever seen, any he’s ever heard of. Once he calms down, he notices that he’s nearly deaf and blind which brings about a fresh wave of panic during which he realizes he’s neither deaf or blind, he’s simply lacking all the spidey senses he’s become so accustomed to. After some experimentation involving doorknobs and benches, he discovers that his super strength is gone as well. It becomes apparent his balance has returned to normal pre-bite clumsy when he trips over his own feet walking over to sit on the bench he’d just been trying to mutilate. That’s when he finally pays attention the information he’s been given and figures out (to a degree) what’s going on. He doesn’t contact the network quite yet though. Instead, he liberates a pair of jeans, a tee shirt, tennis shoes and a hoody, changes into them and hits the food stands. It’s only after he’s dressed and has been fed that he decides to navigate the network. At least his tech knowledge and ability hasn’t been stripped from him.]

And suddenly I’m in Sci-Fi Land, which I always thought should be a real place in Disneyland. I mean they’ve got Tomorrowland, but who are we kidding? It didn’t look anything like what I imagined the future would be. They could bling it out with tech and holograms, all kinds of shiny things and lights, people walking around in too much latex. Maybe an alien or two, the friendly sort…

[He stops rambling and his brow furrows a moment.] That—that got away from me. Any chance Oscorp has their fingers in this?

[ He’d question NYPD because they want Spiderman gone as much as anyone, but he doesn’t think they have the juice or funds to make that happen, not to mention that as far as he knows, they don’t know Peter Parker and Spiderman are one and the same.]

[ooc: If you’d like to action, you can catch Peter in sector 0 wearing the orange jumpsuit, trying to break a bench or a doorknob or a something. You can come upon him sitting on the bench and learning all about Marinanova or shopping in the clothing stores or scarfing down an incredible amount of food at any number of street vendors]

[ to say that sookie was hurt would be an understatement. while she wasn't surprised that eric had done his fair share of kissing and had managed to smooch his way through the prison population, she was disappointed in him for not exercising a little more restraint or doing more to keep out of sight. all of her kisses had been accidental, unintentional encounters that happened while she was hiding out indoors, with one resulting in the (temporary, still on going) loss of her telepathy and her light. she would need to see how rogue was doing with all that, but right now, she had a more important question to ask of the network... ]

Alright. Who all here had the pleasure of kissing my vampire yesterday? Eric Northman, the asshole who can't seem to keep his fucking fangs in his pants.

[ hell hath no fury like a wounded southern belle with irrational tendencies scorned. ]

You holding up okay? I imagine what my head's like on a daily basis can be a little overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it. Is there anything I can do? [ even though she can't really do much of anything for it while powerless, save recommend rogue find a vampire to hang around for the silence they provide until the telepathy stops. ]

[There's something in the dome. Well, technically a someone, but it may not seem like that to others given the look of the creature that is lurking in the darkened area of the dome, trying to avoid anyone. The white skin and odd appearance do make it a little hard.

Poor M'gann had not only woken up in a strange place, but she didn't have her abilities... any of them. She had spent the good part of an hour trying to at least bring her human form up so she could figure out what had happened, how she had ended up here, but she couldn't. And worse yet, her telepathy was down as well. That's how she normally communicated when she was in this form.

This was so miserable. She had limited information about where she was since she couldn't manipulate the communicator she had been given easily. She didn't even know if the team was anywhere nearby, someone she would know. This had to be a nightmare. There was no other explanation!]

[ooc: I'm evil yes. This is M'gann's true form, which she tries to keep hidden at all costs, but the restraints have prevented her from doing so. Don't worry; a proper intro will come next dayweek. For the moment she has her communicator and she can muddle through English though it might be awkward]
