[The feed flickers on to show...sand? Yeah, somebody decided to hurl her weird little headpiece thing in a fit of pique.]

[She continues, voice alternating between rage and despair. Eventually, the feed times out.]

[If you happen to be on the beach this morning, you may come across a teenager in a bright orange jump suit stubbornly hitting her ankle with a large rock.]

[The beach isn't a bad place to be. Especially not in the morning. Yuuki hasn't returned home yet since last night. Up in a tree, she had nodded off for... well, probably not too long. Not with the rain She can't really say.

She does wake up however to the steady pounding of something below her and the angry cries. Glancing down, she frowns at the sight.

An orange jumpsuit. It looks like...the wardens have kidnapped their next batch of individuals. This girl looks vaguely familiar though, even if they never really had spoken. Clearing her throat, she opens her mouth to speak]

It'll come off naturally... probably tomorrow, if you leave it alone.

[Jumping down, an umbrella in her hand and hood up, she moves closer]

We can probably get you something better than an orange jumpsuit, though.

[Bit late for the "hurt yourself" bit, as Korra's ankle is already scratched and bleeding. But the pain is a small price to pay if she can get this thing off of her.

She glares at Peggy, holding the rock up as though to hurl it at her. She's angry and terrifyingly vulnerable without her bending -- any of her bending. Like meeting Aang had never happened. Like defeating Amon had just been a dream.]

The anklet stays on for a period of twenty-four hours. Hitting with a rock is only going to make the wardens want to keep it on you longer.

[ this blonde, hazel eyed teenager is not wearing a bright orange jumpsuit, but something more... obviously not the kind of thing anyone in korra's world wears. she's also got a book tucked under one arm, iphone held in the other hand. one of the earbuds is dangling over her shoulder, the other in her ear. if korra listens closely, she'll be able to hear the faint music drifting out of the electronic device. she might not be able to make any calls, but thank god her itunes library is still intact. ]

[Any angry retort on Korra's part is stopped short when she sees Quinn. It's not even the weird clothes -- it's her hair. Korra has never seen anything like it in her entire life. She can hear music faintly playing, but she can't tell where it's coming from.

Is this girl some sort of spirit?

Korra stands, keeping a firm grip on the rock.]

Who are you?

[Her voice is hard and a little wary. She's in no mood to play nice, even with potentially dangerous spirits.]
