[Day 198] [Audio|Action|Open] [Forward Dated to Afternoon-ish]

[The last few days have been...something. Enough of a something that Bucky decided getting a drink in the early afternoon was a perfectly good idea and the Winery was as good a place to do it as any. He usually lays low, chats up a few ladies now and then, and spends time with Steve--but that won't be happening anymore, will it? He almost wants to ask what the point of being here is now, but he won't because knowing how things work, he just might get the answer he doesn't want.

He snorts at his own stupid thoughts, taking another stiff drinking from his glass and letting it clink-clack as he sets it carelessly back down on the table in front of him. He's sitting loose, clothes a bit rumpled and his hair a little in disarray. Messy, but not like he just rolled out of bed. Even maybe if he had.]

[Audio]
Time goes by fast around here, don't it? [He says it easily, but there's a bit of slur to his words, an edge behind all of the nonchalance.] You just keep going along, minding your business and in the blink of an eye it's like...you didn't even notice how things were different. That's probably what they want. Get us all cozied up and then drop the bombs.

[He snorts, taking a drink.] Think I prefer being shot at by Nazis.

[Accidental Video | Filtered from Tyki Mikk] Day 197 evening

[info]marinanova
[Exhaustion and pain somehow turned his intended private voice post into a near-public video; filtered from Tyki only because Komui rigged his device for all outgoing calls. People might have heard Cross' rare quasi-nice behavior from earlier, but he was more covert about heading over to Sector 2 to make sure Tyki didn't actually kill the little bastard.]

We don't have good wine in the house. You should get some. [He intended this call to Rebecca, obviously. Bitching and moaning, as expected from Cross? Except that however pissy his voice sounds, the video shows him leaning, slumping against a wall, eye closed.]

[It's the first time he's kept Judgment invoked for this long since the changes. He tugs up a sleeve to note that the crucifix-scar on the inside of his wrist is bleeding. Stupid thing, don't stain his shirt.]

[Hopefully he can get her out of the house for a while, or piss her off enough that she won't care if he sleeps elsewhere.]
Don't bring any of that cheap trash home.

((OOC: Cross might hang up on concerned parties because he's an ass, but look forward to potential threadjacks by Rebecca or Komui!))

Day 198 — Morning greeting

[info]ai_veridical
[info]marinanova
Welcome to Day 198. Sunny. Clear. Practically perfect in every way.

Today, the museum will be featuring torture devices*. Sadly, there will be no gift shop open for this particular exhibit. Do use discretion if you have a weaker constitution or fancy yourself innocent.

One of the food carts in sector 0 will also be featuring pizelles.

(OOC: *The link leads to a website about a real torture museum. There are illustrations including nudity and torture within the links. You're welcome to also see more modern devices and items not shown there. There will be security to prevent theft.

Messages to report to the kiosk will be sent to Dirk, Jake, Piter, Spike, Tyki, Laura, and Itachi. If they do not report they will be brought there by sentinels.)

Day 197 / Action / Closed to Ianto

[info]foreverjack
[info]marinanova
(Takes place immediately after Ianto's introductory network post)
(Rated NC-17 for sexing)

((OOC: Hope it's okay to post in normal prose – I can't see any other prose posts recently but the OOC Rules say it's okay and I do find it a hell of a lot easier for action posts!))

The moment he closes the call with Ianto, Jack starts to shake. It's an involuntary reaction to the shock of seeing him here – seeing him again when he thought he never would – and it takes him a long moment to get himself under control. Finding Ianto here might just be both the nicest and the cruellest thing this place will do to him.

Cut for length and boring descriptions of clothes )

He hurries over selecting clothes for Ianto because the desire to see him again is just too urgent to be denied. As soon as he's picked out enough for a couple of outfits, he stuffs them into carrier bags and heads back towards Sector 0, keeping his eyes peeled for his first glimpse of the familiar figure of Ianto Jones.

locked to stefan salvatore )

[ action ; open to all ]

[ Aside from contacting Stefan there's no rush yet to seek out any of the others.

Why chase them when they have nowhere to run?

Considering he has a good number of the exact same pieces from the brand new exhibit sitting in a storage locker somewhere in Virginia (so many things, nowhere to put them) Klaus decides to skip the museum. Another time, instead he can be found exploring the rest of Sector 5.

Early on in the day he'll be strolling through the memorial gardens and the graveyard. He moves more freely without the ankle bracelet, a demeanor less forced than the one he projected the previous day. No open wound or orange jumpsuit. Every so often he pauses before a gravestone, a plaque, or right in front of the prayer facility. It's almost like he's approachable.

Sometime later (but maybe still too early for most people to be drinking) he makes his way to the blood shack where he sits at the bar with his bourban - something he could have done anywhere else, but Rebekah had piqued his curiosity. He hadn't missed the transmission on the network: American Vampire Leagues and proper assimilation. Mystic Grill might as well be called the same thing as this place for all the undead crawling around in it on any given night, but for everything that goes on in that town and its climbing murder rates the majority of the population still remains blissfully ignorant. After a thousand years of keeping his secrets Klaus wouldn't have it any other way. ]

( ooc: Feel free to start a thread either at the gardens or the bar! And take a glance at his permissions. Thanks! )

[Action | Closed] Day 198, morning.

[She said she'd wait until the next day, so as soon as those creepy Wardens (who'd have thought machines could be so awful, torture devices on display geez!) made their announcement she was off and running. In her... heels. So okay, not her smartest moment, but there's a bigger matter at stake!]

[At least, she thinks so. She never did get quite that was going on, but it's definitely something and Penelope Garcia isn't one to rest on her laurels and stay in the dark. Even if it might involve being incredibly nosy. And don't think it's not driving her crazy that there's no system she can easily hack to get her intel.]

[So that's why it's Reid Or Bust right about now. She'll try his place, the library, the coffee shop first. Then? She's ready to turn over some actual stones if need be.]

[...Or call him. But considering how tragically awful she is at secret-keeping, probably best that she get him somewhere he'll actually have to outrun her.]
