Day 196 — Morning greeting

[info]ai_veridical
[info]marinanova
Welcome to Day 196. It is what organics typically consider to be beautiful outside—or inside technically—but I am certain you will still be able to find something to complain about.

Sam Merlotte's items will be delivered to his restaurant today.

Damon Salvatore is on the naughty list this week—possibly just to hear me say his name. Regrettable turn of luck with the punishment though.

Hopefully you haven't glazed over too much yet. This next part is very important and relevant to all of you. We think you need a little push in the right direction, so for everyone who isn't Damon Salvatore you'll be attending a group therapy session today. Instructions for when and where will be sent to your communicators. I strongly advise against playing hooky.

(OOC: See details here and here on the group therapy sessions if you haven't already!)

Day 196 | Relationship Therapy | action

[info]tallerthanthou
[info]marinanova
[The relationships group therapy attendees will all get a message telling them to report to a private room at Lyrical, the karoke bar in sector 3. When they arrive they'll find couches and oversized chairs arranged into a rough circle. In the center of the ring there is a table with a bowl full of folded slips of paper with questions.]

Possible Questions )

[In addition to the questions there are cards with various prompts. One explains the game, I Never. Another suggests people pair off and roleplay they are in a relationship and then deal with various scenarios like what do to if one partner flirts with someone else or comes home late without calling.]

Additional scenarios )

[If people choose to participate in any of the conversation starters the robots will take drink orders and release them sooner. This is made clear as each person enters. Otherwise, there is a water pitcher and plastic cups as well as a platter of stale donuts.]

(OOC: Anyone is welcome to be directed to this group (or just drop in) whether you responded to the initial set-up post or not! Mingle style. Assume threadjacking and overhearing is welcome unless otherwise marked since it is a relatively small room and group. Even private conversations won't be super private. You are not limited to the questions, scenarios, or games listed above. Assume there are more! Forward dated to late afternoon.)

Day 196 | Group 5 Therapy | action

[info]kitty_has_claws
[info]marinanova
[The group 5 therapy attendees will all get a message telling them to report to the butterfly pavilion in Två Park in sector 2. When they arrive they'll find extra benches have been set up for their session. There is also a table with bitter coffee, sour lemonade, and an assortment of cookies. There are also several cards suggesting various activities, games, and talking points.]

Possible prompts )

[If people choose to participate in any of the prompts the robots release them sooner. This is made clear as each person enters.]

(OOC: Anyone is welcome to be directed to this group whether you made it in time for the random sorting or not. Mingle style. Assume threadjacking and overhearing is welcome unless otherwise marked since it is a relatively small room and group. Even private conversations won't be super private. You are not limited to the questions, scenarios, or games listed above. Assume there are more!)

[Day 196] Therapy Group 6 [Action]

[info]peacefulunrest
[info]marinanova
[The dojo in Sector 1 is quiet and there have been pillows strewn about a low rise table in the center of the room. This is where therapy group 6 will be meeting as the messages on their communicators will tell. Propped against the table are a few wooden training swords, soft padded baseball bats, and on the table are two wooden boxes. Inside the on the left box are strips of paper with instructions for different activities. The sentinels let it be known that if they participate in them, the session will end sooner and they will be allowed to leave. The other box has strips of blank paper and pens inside. Between the two boxes on the table is a stuffed ball that fits easily into the average person's hand.]

Break the ice, don't break the table )

{OOC: Anyone is welcome to join this group willingly or claim they were forced into it, no matter whether they were sorted or not. Massive threadjacking and talking over people is allowed since this is a small group and people will hear things. If you have any other ideas for icebreakers or activities feel free to assume they are also on a strip in the first box.}

[ voice/sometime after the group therapy sessions ]

That sucked. Let's never do it again.

I got a request. Any robotic or otherwise non-organic inmates, please respond to this.

[ action/afternoon/closed to PM, Roxy, and Wally West ]

[ He's not going to let this shitty brainwashing camaraderie-building exercise get in the way of the pre-planned camaraderie-building exercise. Sometime when none of the people involved are stuck in a therapy session, Dirk contacts PM, Roxy, and Wally and heads to Trois Park for the picnic. He's brought a blanket, some sandwiches, some leftover radish-and-peanut pizza, and the cookies Jane helped him bake the day before.

He sets up camp and waits. He just hopes this isn't a disaster, considering one of the people involved is someone he doesn't know a thing about. ]

[Don't look now, therapy-goers, but there's a strange thumping coming from what seems to be a storage closet. Also possibly some murmuring, or muffled laughter. Shuffling sounds. Definitely suspicious.]

[A little, gold flying thing is flitting around just outside the door, as if impatient. He's also chewing on what seems to be a cigarette butt.]

[The sounds in the closet are getting louder, punctuated by a nice loud clatter.]

[Look in the closet? Talk to the weird flying thing with a nicotine appetite? Scream "FIRE!!" and see what happens? Choose your destiny.]

((OOC: If your character wants to knock, yank the door open, or otherwise insert themselves, please be aware that they'll be interrupting some serious Cross-Rebecca foreplay WHICH WE SO WANT THEM TO DO. Nothing too R-rated we promise, just disheveled clothing and laughter/irritation... unless you request something more. /eyebrow waggle~ To thread with Tim (aka little flying cigarette guy), please just indicate such! o/))

[In a small corner of the library, chairs are arranged in a circle. There's a stand against the wall, holding one of those giant post-it note pads. Written on the top note is:

THE IMPORTANCE OF TELLING THE TRUTH

Day 196// Family Isuues Group

[info]easily
[info]marinanova
[There's an annoucement for another group, this one meeting in one of the rooms at the education center. This group is specially made for those with issues with the families. When you arrive to the room the chairs will be moved to form a circle. It's to promote a feeling of unity, okay?

There are a set of sample questions written on a dry erase board, but of course, things might go off topic.
]

Sample Questions:

1. How many members in your family are there?
2. Have any of them passed away? How?
3. Do you have any siblings? Brothers or sisters? How many?
4. Do you have a good relationship with your mother?
5. Your father?
6. Your siblings (if you have them)?
7. Who are you closest to in your family?
8. If you could change anything about your family, what would you change?

[ooc: you could be forced to this one by the bots, or volunteer, either way goes. And even if you didn't sign up a character for this one, feel free to go for it.]
