WEATHER: Temperatures have risen slightly to the mid 60s. There is rain in the morning, but the clouds give way and the sun comes out in the afternoon.

EVENTS: Things are very quiet, and the mood of the town generally somber. The president addresses the nation in the evening and promises that every possible resource available to the government is being used to get inside the school, but it feels like a lot of friends and families are giving up hope - and who can blame them? Something has to happen soon.
