Hello to familiar faces
Who: Ulysses and Zaviar
Where: Zaviar's place
When: Mid-afternoon
The phonebook was outdated but it did give Ulysses the information that he needed and within an hour of leaving Madeleine surrounded by her own books he found himself standing in front of yet another door. The difference being that he knew the owner, and even the other resident (if he could be called that) and he expected a much nicer greeting. He wasn't here to acquire a new piece for his collection and he'd always gotten on well with Zaviar despite the other man's friendship with that black-blooded piece of shit. Hopefully the only person inside was Zaviar. Ulysses didn't feel quite ready to come face-to-face with Antonin, not until he had a few sharp objects on hand. He knew that Antonin was a police officer and thanks but no thanks he didn't want to come face to face with a gun.
"Zaviar!" Ulysses called, knocking on the door. "Guess whose in town?" The idea that maybe he'd gone too far with Madeleine, that maybe the elemental had gone and told Zaviar what had happened like some sort of spoiled child, that it would bother Zaviar, none of those things had even occurred to him. And they wouldn't until he was presented with evidence to the contrary.
