Who: Margaret, Brady, and K-lee
When: Later in the evening, June 29th
Where: Liberty Inn
What: Margaret checks in after
dinner with K-lee at the Mudhouse.
"That would be tremendous," she said to K-lee's offer about her bags. She wasn't terribly impressed by the outside appearance of the Liberty Inn, but it was clean and nice enough. After spending a week in the most posh hotel in New York City anything would pale in comparison.
She lugged the heavier of her bags out of the backseat and set its wheels down to pull up the walkway. How she managed to get her luggage down to two suitcases and a purse... Well, that was a trade secret. She was ready to just check in, take a bath and catch some sleep.
The door was open so she lugged her bags inside waiting for K-lee to follow. It was rather decent of her to be helping someone she'd only just met. Margaret sidled up to the counter leaning over it and looking to see if anyone was around. "It appears our proprietor is out." A little smile twisted her lips.
Isn't this just the perfect ending to an already stupidly long day? "Thanks again for all your help," she said to K-lee, almost as if she were excusing her from hanging around longer. "Perhaps we could have lunch or dinner soon, so I can repay your kindness."
Did I just ask a model out? Margaret was just a little impressed with herself.
