< This will be a confusing stop, I fear. I have been trapped on Earth for some time now. But this appears to be Earth of a future...or perhaps a different reality.

The age old Earth shore leave dilemma.

Do I go home and visit family for a bit, or do I just stay in the city? I guess it has been a while since I've been home. That being said, I love San Francisco. I didn't move out there just to be... Well. Yes. I guess I did move out there just to join Starfleet. But you get the point.

There is one threat I didn't bring up at the meeting, as I wanted to confer with all of you first before speaking to the Admiral. I'm also not entirely positive some of you are aware of the full extent how dangerous it is yet.

I'm referring to the Dominion. If due to our presence here, the Wormhole is opened this soon, it could expose this Federation to the Dominion.

The war was destructive enough and going really badly for us when I was brought here. The Dominion could be just as big a threat as the Borg, and much more immediate.
