I've been down in the Arboretum today checking on some of the cuttings I brought back from Fomax. I'm happy to report that they're doing well nad have taken root. I wasn't sure that they would but I managed to duplicate their soil as best I could. Keep your fingers crossed and maybe we'll have some new trees soon.

When I'm off shift, I like to spend time in the Arbotereum. Plants have always been some of the favorite things and even though I've got some in my quarters, it's nice to work with different species.

This extended time on Earth has been amazing. I'm sorry that it happened at the expense of the ship getting damaged but it's made it possible for me to spend some extended time with Demora. I'll take that any way I can get it.
