Ship's Log | To Boldly Go

The only thing I've ever really been good at - aside from hexing people, which I'm sure is frowned up here - is quidditch, so it has taken me a long time to try and figure out what I could really do on this ship to be of any use. I had thought that I might go into Medical because at home I was considering being a Healer if the whole quidditch thing didn't work out, but I also just......well, the type of medicine that you have here is so vastly different from what we do in my world.

I guess I could always go serve drinks in the Lounge with Alicia. Do you want another bartender, Lucifer?

After some conversations with Captain Kirk, we have decided to rework some of the traveler living assignments. Mostly this applies to Starfleet officers from other timelines, however it might affect you as well.

Any change affecting you will show up on your PADD within the hour and the next 48 hours will be reserved for housing movements.

Please let me know if you have a question or comment about these changes. While we aren't going to make it a habit to entertain every housing request all the time, I will take a look this week at any requests you might currently have so please let me know if you do. I make no promises, so don't get your hopes up.

Hello, I'm Daniel Jackson. I arrived a few days ago but got distracted. We're in a space ship guys! A space ship. In space. In the Future. There's so much to see and do and learn I don't even know where to start.

Looks I'm not just tripping balls while lost at Comic Con. Do you know how amazing that is, how utterly remarkable it is that all of us are here of all places? Of course you do. Or at least, I hope some of you do. It would be a real big let down if nobody on a highly advanced space ship had any inkling of how astounding it is for a bunch of people from random different universes to all be here. Theoretics isn't really my thing, but damn if it isn't wicked cool.

I guess I'm supposed to introduce myself. My name is Octavia Blake. I grew up on a space ship because Earth was destroyed in my world by a nuclear war.

What is there to do around here? The last year or so I've been very physically active and I'd like to make sure I stay in shape.

I have mixed feelings about our return to the ship. Bring on the ground has been amazing. What I was able to see of this Earth is so beautiful and there's a part of me that wishes I didn't have to leave it.

At the same time, it will nice to get back to the ship, to space. I'm looking forward to seeing where she takes us next.

I apologize for not making my introduction sooner, but this situation was unexpected and took me by surprise. I needed some time to get my bearings.

My name is Gaeriel Captison, and I am a member of the Bakuran Senate — though, given the nature of our shared circumstance, I doubt that means anything to anyone. I've never heard of a planet called Earth or a Federation that's not controlled by greedy, power-hungry Neimoidians, but I am eager to learn more about them both.

I am quite curious to see Earth, even if we only get to see a small portion of it. As I understand it, the planet has many different ecosystems, whereas most of our planets each had a single ecosystem. The diversity should prove to be very interesting.

Earth humans have interesting holidays. I've never understood the obsession with alcohol, but I'd be a hypocrite if I said I've never gotten really drunk before.

Usually it was for a good cause or celebration though.

Tahiri's already filled me in on a few things, such as the fact that I'm late, and also that this is a way to introduce myself to everyone.

So, I guess here goes. I'm Anakin Solo. You may know some of my family as it seems some of them have been here for a bit.

This is a bit different than some of the ships I've been on, but I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning more about this place.
