I've been on this ship for almost 5 months.

That feels weird to think about, but I guess it's kind of awesome, too. Life is totally different here, but mostly it's pretty great.

Saturday is 5 months exactly. We should celebrate, right?

I did not realize that there are so many Russian speakers here until the recent post about languages. Zdravstvuyte. It is my first language and always easier for me to communicate in it.

A few people have asked about the little ball of fur that sits on my desk in the traveler's liaison office and purrs. It's called a tribble, and they are a real creature in this universe, though the one I have is not real. We had some on board a few months ago and they multiply very quickly, so they're not feasible to have as pets. Howard made this one for me, which is, for lack of a better term, robotic. No need to worry about alarming reproduction rates. It's so darling and it probably needs a name. Suggestions?

It feels so silent and dead on board. How do you people live like this? Artificial sun, artificial life?

I'd like to know what languages everyone speaks, if you don't mind.

Here are the ones I'm fluent in: Basic (which I believe is Federation Standard here), Alderaanian, Corellian, Huttese, can understand Shyriiwook, and various others as well.

I've recently been spending some time in the holodeck, working on a program that's very dear to me. If you have any interest in a short tour of a small area Alderaan, though it's not one hundred percent accurate, please let me know.

Do they have scientific cures for hangovers on this boat?

In a fashion very unlike myself, I arrived here without much of a ruckus. However, flying in under the radar has allowed me to observe three things:

1. This universe is very much against allowing me to make portals to see myself out of it.
2. The replicator makes shitty whiskey and no amount of insulting it will change that.
3. There is an unnaturally large amount of beautiful people around that I'd like to introduce myself to.

I'm starting to feel a little stir crazy and its only been a month since the last planet. I wonder what planet we'll visit next, and what their history and culture will be like. I hope they're as willing to share and allow people like me to explore as the last time.
