It has taken some time for me to accept that this situation is real, and not some sort of illusion or test that I am being placed under. While I am still not entirely sure that I am not dead, I feel that either way what I am about to say will make no difference. In that interest, I will come clean.
My name is Illya Kuryakin and I am from the Soviet Union in 1963. I am not, and have never been, an architect. I am a member of Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti, which in English is known as KGB. Many of you I am sure have heard of this. My job is mainly in intelligence, often in clandestine affairs. Naturally, I could not reveal myself until I felt that it was safe to do so.
The man you know as Napoleon Solo is my colleague from the Central Intelligence Agency. We have spoken about this and I am not compromising him without his permission. Any questions for him will have to be asked directly to him.
So. That is the truth.
