I know for some of you the choice is complicated. For me it is simple, I only wish I'd be able to remember my experiences here. The hope in this future. Something to strive towards when I return.

It seems a shame to lose the lessons learned here.

I'd like to meet with each of you one on one over the next few weeks and months. For some of you, this might be a one and done, and for others this might be multiple sessions. I'm no counselor so don't think this is going to be any kind of counseling session; these are informational sessions where I will be able to ascertain more information regarding what brought each of you here.

To begin, I'd like you each to tell me what you were doing - exactly - what you were doing in the moments before you were pulled here. Never mind how mundane they might be. From there I will begin scheduling appointments.

OOC Information: Declan is a Betazoid, which means that he's a telepath. He will not be able to read your character's mind via the network, so don't worry about any replies you make that way. If you choose to do a log with him, we can discuss the nuances of his telepathy and see how it plays out. Basically, he will probably be reading your mind if you're face-to-face, but you don't have anything to worry about when talking to him via the network.

This is not where I expected to end up next.

I knew that I would miss Risa when we left, but being sick over it is a little surprising.

.....that's a joke, just in case anyone interprets that wrong. I am a little sick, but nothing that won't pass in a day or so.

That said, Jadzia suggested that we have a party for Christmas and since I'm not swamped with security duties, I figured I'd volunteer to try and organize something for all of us since I know Peggy is a little busy right now with her duties. So, Enterprise, what should we do for the holiday? All suggestions welcome, provided they don't involve death, destruction, and excessively graphic violence.

And, yes, this includes Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, too. Though I'm pretty sure Hannukkah has already passed or is really close to ending, but no reason we can't include it.

While I am not at all happy that we were forced to leave paradise in order to return to this ship, the Lounge has been fully restocked and there are some new drinks to try out as well. I know a good deal of you had missed me, even those who would never admit to it.

They call this planet paradise, and in many ways it reminds me of where I grew up. Though with much fewer warriors, of course.

I cannot tell if it has made me feel more homesick, or less homesick. It's a very strange feeling.

I also might have spooked one of the natives. I took my broom out to fly and the poor bloke just happened along as I used the disillusionment charm on myself. I can imagine what it might be like to think a girl just appeared out of nowhere, but he ran off before I could do anything about it. As no one has tried to arrest me or burn me, I'm guessing he's choosing to believe he imagined it.

Does anyone have some books that are child-friendly? Or that I could fudge a bit to be child-friendly? Hazel is bored.

And speaking of Hazel, would anyone like to babysit her? I need a drink and bringing a kid to the lounge to do that is kind of skeezy. If you're interested, we gotta talk first. I won't let just anyone babysit her.

I believe he was happy here. It doesn't seem right to send someone home who has decided to make a life here.

I was told to introduce myself to the ship at wide using this device. So Hello, you may call me Chief. It's technically a nickname, as my true name is actually Napi. I'm a big fan of tricks and stories, being the Blackfoot trickster and storytelling demigod. I am a member of the Blackfoot Native American tribal Nation. I appear about 39 years old, though I am much older than that. I am originally from the traditional Blackfoot lands along the Alberta/Montana border but recently I had been moving around as I felt it necessary before I was brought here. Recently, in this case, essentially meaning since the second World War ended.

I do not have any family on this ship to be notified about or who will be notified about my arrival, but if you wish to become a friend, I would welcome new friends. Friendship is always good.

I don't know about anyone else, but I will definitely be checking out Alicia's candy and drink pairing. Maybe that's just an excuse to spend time in the lounge, but I really don't care.

Did you have a chance to speak to Lucifer, yet?

I have noticed a Lt. Riley in one of the Rec Rooms, singing every Thursday morning.

While he is not very good and sings the same song every time, he does remind me of an old friend with a lovely voice. We were at war, and his song was a respite in the darkness.

That's... a lot of people.

Anyone here interested in a card game? I'm open to game choices, but I'll always go for poker. Not for actual money, mostly because I'm new and frankly I just don't have much to put forward. Play because it's something to do, and the entertainment of trash talk.
