I'm feeling cautiously optimistic since James didn't disappear and Lily showed up, and it seems there's a lot more people who know the world I'm from on board now. Do any of you know me? I'm sorry if I'm meant to know who you are but don't.

And if I'm counting right, it's five months since I arrived here? Has it really been that long?

Hello, Enterprise. I'm James Potter. They said I was here before, which I don't remember at all and I just met my kid, who I'm pretty sure is actually older than me.

This is so bloody weird.

It's one thing to have your best mate show up, then disappear. It's another thing to have it happen twice. Especially when people you thought were your friends prove worthless.

Everyone is suddenly interested in finding new things to do on the ship.......well, okay, maybe not suddenly, but there seems to be an uptick in those sorts of discussions.

So, being the nice witch that I am, I'm going to offer a suggestion. Where I come from we have a sport called quidditch and I've made enough brooms through the replicator, combined with a good bit of wand waving and charm work (don't worry, I made an O on my NEWTS), that we can have two teams play against one another. That comes with the caveat that most of you are going to have to learn how to fly a broom without falling off but that's something I can certainly teach you to do. I did this professionally at home - playing quidditch, I mean - so I promise you'll be in very good hands. I know what I'm doing.

I'll go ahead and say that if you are scared of heights that this isn't the game for you, but if you aren't? It's bloody good fun.

So... this place is a bit odd. I feel like I've been here before. Anyone about?

Does anyone who's actually from this place and time know anything about the laws regarding magic on earth these days? Because I've appreciated not having to hide it here but I don't want to end up being burned at the stake when we land.

And are the chances of seeing a quodpot game pretty slim?

It's going to be mental, being on earth in the future, isn't it? Too bad we can't go to England.

Have any of you tried apparating since you've been here? I haven't. I mean, even the smallest error in calculating it could mean getting stuck inside of a bulkhead or, worse, you know, out in space and then you're dead.

So I've been on this ship about a week, but I've finally figured out this strange muggle tech and figured that I should probably introduce myself. My name is James Potter. Some of you probably already know my wife Lily. Which reminds me, is there a specific place to request a joint room? I rather miss having my wife sleeping beside me.

It's strange, being on this ship. Time sort of slips away from you and it's easy to forget what day it is.

The second of May slipped by without my noticing, which is somehow a relief and a bit of heartbreak all at once. Though at home, we would be celebrating my niece Victoire's second birthday and that's a bit of a bright spot.
