It’s always rough seeing such a large number of departures. My sympathies to those who have lost friends and other loved ones among them. If anyone wants to join me in a toast to their memory in the lounge, I won’t say no to the company.

With the recent discussions about languages, I had a thought. How would you both feel about some kind of formal language club of sorts on the ship? I feel that there are a number of travelers who would be interested.

Do they always leave en masse like that?

So, uh, if anyone is interested, I've been working on a shepherd's pie in the mess hall for a few weeks now and I'm going to be serving it for the first time tonight. I promise it tastes good!

Are we really expected to just accept this?

I am going to do something I almost never do.

I think it's appropriate to acknowledge and compliment my entire medical team.

Six months ago, when my—for once, quiet—medbay was invaded by new arrivals needing physicals and care and assistance, I was not thrilled, given the size of my staff. But as our numbers have grown, the number of medical personnel has increased exponentially. We are well-staffed, well-maintained, and I can say, a damn good bunch.

Be you trainees, experimental practitioners, researchers, displaced Starfleet, or my regular staff, I'm proud to work alongside you. Thank you for all you do.

I don't think I've had anything to drink yet today, so you can consider this genuine.

Hey guys, and especially the Enterprise Crew and Seven-of-Nine. I have some advanced nanotech working in my costume from home, and I'd like to see if with it, and with Seven-of-Nine's knowledge and capabilities in that field, we could maybe find a way to begin incorporating it into our medical facilities. Try and help make it more 'mass-produced' so we have it in larger quantities. In the off chance something goes south. Like, Tony pisses off the wrong Klingon woman, or what have you.

Seven-of-Nine really did some great work on Vader when he was here, and I know that could be incorporated to help others perhaps.

Also, I want waffles.

There is something about the early morning hours. It doesn't matter if it's on this ship, or in a city back home.

Forgive me for not introducing myself sooner. It's been more of an adjustment than I thought being reassigned to the Enterprise.

My name is Dr. Carol Marcus and I work in the science department, usually with weaponry, but I can be flexible if necessary. It's exciting to have all of these different travelers on board. I look forward to getting to know you.

Well that was certainly entertaining! A bit of advice for all of you music lovers out there:

If you're going to listen to the same song for hours on repeat, use headphones.

It has been brought to my attention that there are now travelers living upon the Enterprise, a redundancy as I was already aware. It was also suggested that I introduce myself, although I was unable to ascertain the purpose that would serve. Nevertheless I am Spock, First Officer and Chief of Sciences.

It has also been made clear that this situation is unlikely to change in the near future and so I would ask that efforts are made to follow protocol aboard this starship on which you now reside.

Captain, I am uncertain if this introductory post contains a warm and welcoming attitude as suggested in our meeting at Headquarters, but I do trust that it is sufficient?

I know many of us are in training for different disciplines. Is there anything more for people like my sister and me who don't know a great deal about this world yet? I'd like to be useful on the ship and I've been through plenty of schooling but I'm not sure how to approach it in this time.

This does appear to be a most unusual situation. While it will take some getting used to, I believe the experience may be a good one.

I'm Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise, and I am a Starfleet Captain in my own time, which is not this time, but it seems that is fairly common around here.
