Ship's Log | To Boldly Go

The only thing I've ever really been good at - aside from hexing people, which I'm sure is frowned up here - is quidditch, so it has taken me a long time to try and figure out what I could really do on this ship to be of any use. I had thought that I might go into Medical because at home I was considering being a Healer if the whole quidditch thing didn't work out, but I also just......well, the type of medicine that you have here is so vastly different from what we do in my world.

I guess I could always go serve drinks in the Lounge with Alicia. Do you want another bartender, Lucifer?

Uh, I've never been real good at the apologizing thing and all. Which is probably obvious considering it took me this long to post anything. But... uh... sorry. For making a mess a bunch of weeks ago and hurting. And thanks and sorry to the people who helped me out.

I've been trying to think what I could do on the ship for a job. I was a reporter back home but it doesn't feel like that's something I could do here. I know I don't need a job but I feel like doing something, I just don't know what.

Also I wondered how many people would be interested in playing board games. I've talked to a couple of people about them and they were interested but I wondered if there were more. It might be fun to get a big group together and play with whatever ones we can find or come up with. I know there's a homemade Scrabble set out there already.

So, I've been doing a bit of reading. I'm I right in saying, that other than when human colonized Mars. You had no actual martians in this reality?

And, no Daxam or Krypton. Or Rau?

Interesting planet, I especially enjoyed the electric eels. It's not something I have ever encountered before. Still, I think I'm more used to being in space than most anywhere else. And exploring a whole new galaxy is a fascinating prospect.

...I've been thinking of going through the training to work on the ship.

But, I'd have to take orders. I'd be on the bottom rung again and I don't know how well I'd do at that.

I need to get back home. Can someone tell me how I do that? Not that being in the future isn't fascinating but I was kind of in the middle of a crisis and I need to get back.

So, this is the future of humanity, huh? It's certainly interesting.
